It's not a matter of attention span, it's a matter of poor presentation. Good writing does not ramble on incessantly without saying anything the way a lot of animes will. Are you familiar with the phrase "Brevity is the soul of wit"?

Well if people are too picky on how stories express themselves, then they are placing walls around themselves instead of broadening their horizons, mew!

But that's okay because different people have different tastes, people can't convince people to like something, people can only decide themselves and stuff, mew. (kind of like people that don't like soccer will probably continue not liking soccer.)

But not need to bash bash other people's opinions about anime that has great things about it and stuff and even though the previous arc was a low point, things can go up and even higher with this climactic arc, mew!

Wrong. It just means they aren't keen on tolerating terrible writing. There is nothing wrong with calling bad writing 'bad writing' and wanting good writing instead. That doesn't mean you cannot or should not enjoy a show that has bad writing, but don't treat it as some holy idol that can do no wrong. Things have flaws and you make yourself look like an absolute idiot every time you kick and scream about how they most definitely positively cannot ever possibly exist because this is the best ____ ever.

Good writing and bad writing might be a matter of taste, but it becomes less so as more and more people come to recognize the quality of a work. A hundred can consider Bleach good, but if there are a thousand who agree it's bad, then that hundred probably simply lack taste.

Bleach is lame for several reasons, only one of which being the brevity of storytelling. There's Kubo's penchant for inconsistency (he's even admitted he doesn't even bother going back to reference previous stories, he just sort of makes shit up as he goes), Lucas-esque habit of introducing then dismissing secondary characters, with no explanation whatsoever (we had to learn the fate of the Espada, for instance, from the fucking Databook), the constant rehashing of convention in his illustrated battles, and then you get to the time it took to start and finish the Hueco Mundo/Aizen arc. This guy fills his pages with obnoxious amounts of white and black space, and maybe a panel or two per of dialogue and character interaction. Really, the comic's only saving grace is that Kubo can fucking draw.

I mean, I really love his art, but he's the reason mangas should option dual creators: one writer and one artist, because Kubo can't write for shit.

Seriously, though, I'm calling it now: Ichigo's next power-up will be... Getsuga Tensho. +3.

His art isn't even that great. If you want good art, go look at what Kentaro Miura produces. The dude takes forever to put together his work, but that is my standard of excellence when it comes to artwork. Most of the more popular stuff that stretches on forever just looks shamefully amateur by comparison.

That's not necessarily true, a story doesn't have to follow a finite, saga format to be valid. Naruto's gone on for a decade, but I'd say it's telling a pretty decent story, the author simply does a good job of starting and ending sub-plots before they corrupt the overall story itself, which is what any good story should do. Manga are occasionally superior to western comics in this respect for the simple fact that there is one person directing the story, rather than different teams and visions coming and going. Kubo is awful at this.

Assuming Kishimoto plans to end Naruto soon at all, the current arc could very well conclude the series, depending on the development of the next few months.
