    Finished up Blood+ season 2 the other day and enjoyed the series as a whole. Except for Mao, someone should have killed that chick in the first season. I liked the reporter better without her around.

    Also, Quinton Flynn should just say "Got it memorized" at some point for every character he plays. I spotted him here as Carl aka "The Phantom"). Kojima made him do it for Raiden.

        Finished Eyeshield 21 FINALLY! I'm pissed at the fact that I waited almost 5 months for some better quality episodes to come out (Episodes 90-145) only to be disappoint at the end.

        Watching Inazuma 11 now, hopefully this series will make up for my loss of new sports anime for the moment.

          Prepare for trouble...and make it double!


          The new Code Geass anime sounds too much like Eyeshield 21. I was wondering when they would make a Prequel to Gurren Lagann. Sequels to Ghost in the Shell (YES!) and Gundam Seed (Meh, but I guess I'll probably watch it anyways). Also interested in the Final Fantasy IV animation and possibly Sailor Moon.

              Yeah, word around the web seems to say this chart is fake.

              Ghost in the Shell: SAC Season 3 wouldn't make much sense because GitS SAC: Solid State Society effectively completes the storyline for the series. Be it the movies or the TV shows, once the Puppetmaster/Puppeteer storyarch gets done they leave the rest up to imagination. Motoko really only got a cameo here and there in GitS2 by my understanding.

              I could see a season without the Major actually working as all the other members of Section 9 are just that interesting, but the X-Files stayed interesting in its last two seasons and people still panned them because most of them didn't have Agent Mulder in them. GitS without Motoko just wouldn't have the same pull.

              FFVI as an anime I actually could see working, but with only a logo to go on, I'm gonna have to assume it fake, too.

                Yea, I can't see much of that list actually happening. Sailor Moon, GitS: SAC 3 and FFVI especially. Seems more like a suped up wishlist then an actual upcoming animes.

                Everything on that list is either a sequel, prequel, retelling or adaptation, so chances are it's completely fake.

                    If they made a new Sailor Moon series, GitS: SAC season 3 and a game accurate FFVI anime, I would drop a load so big it could power a starship. But Naoko Takeuchi was pretty adamant about stopping Sailor Moon at exactly 200 episodes and I don't think she ever went back to the series, the GitS movies more or less concluded the tale of Makoto Kuxxxxgi, and without her there is no Ghost in the Shell (though the rest of the crew *is* awesome) and the last two times SE tried to make an FF Anime, they were both original stories, though Legends of the Crystals was sorta loosely based on FFV. If anything, they'd probably try and make a FFXIII-esque related anime to coincide with the whole "TEN YEARS OF 13 FRANCHISE" or whatever they were spouting before the game came out.

                    But then again, that's usually why wishlists suck, they always suggest making something you would love to actually see...but know will never actually happen.

                              I just watched the first episode of the 2008 Golgo 13 anime.

                              Are all the episodes like this?

                              Duke Togo get paid to do a hit by the government.
                              Duke goes to have a rifle prepared, pays most of what he just got paid for the rifle.
                              Duke has sex with an escort in the meantime. Boobs!
                              Someone tries to get the drop on Duke after he's done.
                              Duke kills them.
                              Duke goes to pick up his rifle.
                              Egad! Duke's target has changed locations! This shot will be impossible!
                              Duke kills the target anyway.
                              Duke gets mad at anyone that tries to enter a room behind him (I guess this is the paranoia of being a sniper).

                              Is this the breakdown of all the shows and, if so, am I free to just move on?

                              Golgo 13 just a bit too stoic. I mean, the man didn't even seem to be enjoying the escort as much as she enjoyed him.

                                So I watched Black Rock Shooter, mainly because I enjoy the occasional Miku Miku, and BRS merchandise was fucking all over the place in Tokyo so I was curious.

                                Turns out it's the shittiest anime I've ever seen. Like, I would rather have another School Days or Endless Eight marathon, because at least then the creators were intentionally fucking with their audience.

                                So without spoilers, here's what you watch: For about 40 minutes, the plot switches back and forth, with a completely unexplained surreal world where the same fight scene you've seen in dozens of other anime is used to break up an even more boring school life drama. The ending can be seen coming from a mile away, mainly because the characters in both worlds look EXACTLY THE SAME. I sat to the end, hoping for a twist which simply wasn't there. The only thing the ending does to explain all of the supernatural bullshit is clarify the timeline; why the school drama gets linked into this fucking fight scene is never explained beyond generic "bonds of friendship" bullshit.

                                All of this while the ending is as cheesy as it could possibly be.

                                Seriously, this is the last line of the movie:

                                "WATASHI WA... WATASHI WA.... WATASHI WA...!

                                BURAKKU ROKKU SHOOTAA"

                                CREDITS



                                They even had the audacity to put more bullshit after the credits, as if they actually wanted people to see their names attached to this.


                                I only bring this up because I did in fact confirm a bit of grammar that I'd been unsure about, so I'm pretty not mad.
