    Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood

    I'm surprised to see no thread for this yet but I had to have one so I could do a fan-girl rave since this anime is getting so good.

    I love the way they've done this one to match the manga and how I can still find it incredibly exciting knowing the story.

    I think they've done a better job on this one than on the original FMA, though I think the original FMA was good, as far as animation goes. Since the original was so good at first I was worried the one more ture to the manga would't live up to it and I'm so glad I was wrong.

    Any thoughts?

    I do agree, I liked the first FMA anime, then when this "remake" came out that matched the manga alot more, I found it to be very nice as well.

      Noticed they were showing the dub on cartoon network, my ears bled. I had been meaning to watch the original series and just never got around to it lol. I might have to check out Brotherhood when I resort through my anime again.

          I watched a few eps of the retelling but didn't manage to stay interested.

          I thought the dub of the first series was pretty good. Does the second one suck?

            FMAB is a direct port of the Manga, where as the anime was an original work based on the Manga. I prefer the original because it was so much darker, but FMAB is awesome too.

              I think the story of Brotherhood is a lot better than the one in the original anime. There should be more humor in Brotherhood though. Especially from Hohenheim. "My vintage armor!!"

                I watched several episodes of Brotherhood and I have to say its well done. I did not watch the dubs though. I just can't see watching all of it since I've already watched the original episodes. I know there is some new content thrown in but I'm so behind on some of my animes as it is that throwing in another one, especially one I've seen, is really not a good idea. But I do highly recommend watching THIS version if you've never seen the anime before.

                  I didn't even know hey were dubing it already. I've been watching the sub, up to episode 43 now, which is being released on-going.

                  I find FMAB darker actually since things aren't as cut and dry and certain. They never touched on the fact that Al can't stay attached to the armor forever in the original anime. There are a lot more layers to the story too in my opinion.
