Yeah it looks like the next episode might be that last as for spectacular or not we will see. If its as emotionally charged as some of the other episodes though it would be a satisfying ending.

The coming part at the end makes it seem like Erin dies letting Lilan go free and it that's the case I think it will be moving.

I'm not sure about you but I gasped when Nugan showed up with the other Touda. I never epected he was in that smarmy Uncle of Semiyah's pocket. I never thought he'd go that far. I really, really want that guy to pay in some way!

Yea it was the climax of that episode and to be honest I was a little underwhelmed, I thought Danmiyah was going to try something even crazier.

I really liked the ending though it wasn't like an epic battle type ending I think it was true to the spirit of the anime and its underlying tone. I'm curious if you liked it.

My only complaint was I'd of liked to of seen some more of the impact rather than showing a song with pictures for some of it. Like it looked like Erin ended up back teaching and had a child I'd of liked to know how she got there after from when Lilan scooped her up. Like showing scens of that instead of pictures of all of the main characters. Or how did everything effect the treatment of the Ohju and Tohda in the future?

I guess I agree with you on that but I still liked it, that is because I love those painting-like stills, they look epic.

I liked the ending overall... some great moments in there.

The thing I liked the most about this anime is the fact that you get to see her grow up and you get really attached to Erin... her struggle is very touching and so are her memories.

A great story put together, and I do believe it was somewhat low-budget but I'd have to see more of their material which I am going to be taking a look at soon.

Yeah I read it was based on a lite novel series and a manga done off of that lite novel.

I'm wondering if any of those are available translated?

Don't get me wrong I loved this anime I just would of liked to see some more of the aftermath. lol.

I just finished episode 37 and there's something that's been nagging at the back of my mind for a while that suddenly hit me. It's certainly not a bad thing, but we've seen absolutely nothing to suggest that Erin has any sexuality to her. I find it thoroughly refreshing to have a female mian character that isn't just eye candy used to distract us from poor writing. It gives the show a certain maturity that I can really appreciate.
