Kinda bored, so I figured I'd toss this out there. I'm looking for something similar to Azumanga or Lucky Star; random, crazy, hilarious show- preferably with extremely little or no real plot.

Wasn't there a thread just like this before?

Anyway if you haven't already watch Love Hina or Excel Saga.

Ya, it definitely falls into the odd that's not really for everyone.

Love Hina has its random moments, but it's primarily a romance comedy, and there are better ones out there that don't rely on the repetition of impossible misunderstandings and having the main love interest be a bitch for the whole series except the very end, to push the plot forward. I liked the series, but I don't think it's what Feba is looking for.

I'd say Sayonara Setsubou Sensei, but you've probably seen it, since it was pretty recent. Give School Rumble a try too. Personally I loved it, but I'm not sure if it has enough randomness for you.

If your looking for randomness nothing beats Excel Saga. That series is hilarious on so many levels. Love Hina imo is too short to get enough enjoyment from, but it is good for a few laughs.

Puni puni is made by the same creators of Excel so it is just as random. In fact, if you watch both Excel and Puni puni you will see jokes that play off of each other.

One that may not really be considered a "Comedy" but I think has many a moment is Sayuki: Reload. It's shorter than Sayuki, but it's got a few more "funny" moments than I would have thought. Both are definite must-see's for any Otaku. Have fun~! ^^

Yeah, Armando, Zetsubou is great; I just wouldn't really consider it a light comedy. Even lucky star and azumanga aren't completely impossible to follow; nor are they so depressing ;p

Anyway, thanks for the recommendations, I'm looking into some of them

I forgot about AzuManga Daio. (sp?)

That one is great and totally random.

EDIT: lol never mind you already saw that one...
