Nope, no kick ass HD nor a remake. It's a remastered, edited version of the original.

In other words the only new animation done for it is the opening/ending.

It... it sucks...


I'll start downloading it once (if) they get to the Cell arc though. That's my favorite.

The anime just cuts a few things and replaces it with stuff you didn't see in the game (the liberation of Fouzen was very different). Also, I'm liking how they're delving more into the individual squad members this time. The game was awesome but I'm actually enjoying the anime a bit more. Maybe it's because Alicia's cuteness is overkill >_>

Hmm, the anime as it is just isn't for me.

I would have liked it more if they had sticked to the story of the game and went deeper into the characters and interactions (all the stuff you unlocked on the character files to be exact) instead.

There was a LOT of backstory the game just didn't show and that would've made a much better story for the anime instead of that re-telling.


By the way did Audrey show up in the anime? She was my favorite, and default offensive Lancer. And I hope Marina got some screen time. <_<

I'm a little iffy about it. For one thing, one of the driving points of Valkyria was the unique art style which the PSP just can't replicate.

Secondly, there are 35 classes this time... overkill much?

Been watching some Captain Tsubasa and this is still the best game I've seen so far, and a classic. Still haven't seen some of the most obscure title but I seriously doubt they are better than this one.

To be perfectly honest, just that last part alone should remedy one of the issues that the series was widely criticized for.

I'd rather see 5 minutes of Namek time actually be 5 minutes and not 5 episodes.

Oh yeah and less HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA and disappearing and more punching.
