Darker than Black is one of the better Anime's I've watched recently. Finished it off while I was in LA during the summer.

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka... His afterlife may suck, but Jesus Christ that guy sees a lot of naked girls. Do zombies feel happiness? Pants happiness?

Darker than Black is one of the better Anime's I've watched recently. Finished it off while I was in LA during the summer.

BONES makes good shit. Eureka 7 and DTB are two of my favorites, both for the actual show & the music.

Someone mentioned Bones so I recommend them to watch Gosick. I believe it's slated for 24/26 episodes and Episode 13 was just shown. There's a few others that have come out just recently including one where Huke (Bakamonogatari) was in charge of character art called Steins;Gate which is based on a game produced by a company that also made Chaos;Head, both available for PS3 and PC (Xbox2 ?) I mentioned another anime in the other thread which is highly recommended.

Yeah, there are (thankfully) a lot of new animes coming out these days.

I don't know about Steins though, would need to watch another episode or 2 because while it has some Chaos;Head feeling I didn't really get into it.

And Gosick is nice, but Kujo is the kind of eternally clueless protagonist that bores me fast (that also includes IS's Ichika, but who watches that anime for him anyway.) I like Lelouch, Touma or Kyon kinda protagonists more.


PS > Nichijou or Tiger&Bunny are more in tune with my current anime mood.

Too bad IS lasted so little ( Char ), but at least the 2nd "Kaminomizu shiru" series is already out.


PS > And Kaiji was as sucky as usual, but that's traditional shounen manga so it doesn't really count for me, I rather play Ryu ga gotoku in that case. <_<;

Yeah I liked Char the best amongst all of the other characters. As for Gosick, I think Victorique is a passive protaganist ... this is exactly like Sherlock Holmes except the main focus is on Dr. Watson. In that perspective, I forgive Kujo for having his shortcomings. At least it isn't as painfully protracted as Aoi Kazuya in Freezing. Holy shit I wanted to strangle that mofo. By the 4th episode I was already disgusted with him for being an utterly spineless chump. It gets worse up until the 11th episode where his stock rises 1% then he just gets thrown to the back of the bus for the rest of it.

Maybe you'll like Hidan no Aria since it's fast paced and probably has what you're looking for.
