I recently down loaded a few anime episodes of sam x, but it said ova in front of the eps name, what does ova mean since im seeying this all over lime wire, and also whats a good place to down load anime, im deploying so im trying to fill my ipod with as much anime as i can.

OVA means Original Video Animation; OAV means Original Animated Video. Basically they are the same. OAV is released directly to video (DVD, VHS, VCD...) and without being broadcast on TV, as oppose of anime TV series. Usually OVA has higher quality then anime TV series.
If you are referring to Rurouni Kenshin 1st OVA (which has 4 episodes), its story take place 10 years before Rurouni Kenshin TV series (which has 95 ep)....Server: Quetzalcoatl
