    Re: Eureka Seven

Nice to see some E7 fans here ^^ I watched it a long time ago and yeah it does start kinda slow, but a few episodes in you get really hooked. The best thing about the series is Renton's relationships with various characters, including Eureka. Definitely on my top anime list.

I agree. Mathieu and Hilda crack me up XD

Oh, yeah. I had downloaded a handful of Eureka Seven h-doujins some months ago, before watching the series. I didn't bother with them, but now that I've seen it, I was curious, so I checked 'em up. Turns out a couple of them are really good. If anyone's interested, let me know.

        Re: Eureka Seven

Yeah, I was watching Eureka Seven up till about Episode 30 or so. Then I lost track of it, might go buy up the DVDs and finish it. I'm not so picky to let bad dubs ruin the anime for me, besides that with the DVDs of recent animes it usually comes with original + dub + subs.

Actually my favorite thing is more or less running the anime's with Dub + Subs just to see were the translations change and how bad it was (Yes, usually the Subs are translated from the Japanese and don't match the dubbing).

Anyway not sure were I was, last thing I can remember is Eureka looking for Renton on the Gekko state while she was recovering and everyone trying to keep her from finding out that he's not there. Starts getting blurry past that point, remember something of the Gekko state narrowly escaping some fleets with Renton and Eureka getting reunited. Oh also something about the Nirvash trying to evolve.

Yes and I'm glad to see some fellow Eureka Seven fans,
Was anybody else surprised that Nirvash was a girl?

            EDIT: Sorry for reviving this...

It kinda caught me off-guard, but not completely so (Hilda...) Oh, and mark your spoilers ;o

I haven't watched the anime yet ... but I'm a big fan of Oogure Ito's work (Oh!Great, his pen name which is a pun on his real name) I just love the bold line art and the myriad of detail he puts into them.

Turns out it wasn't about a sport, and was actually a sci-fi war anime, needless to say, I've been watching since.
I'm in about the same boat.. when it first showed up on [as] I watched it and thought it was a clone of SDF Macross/Gundam/Robotech etc.. it came back on a month or two ago right after Blood Plus so I checked it out and got hooked.

Eureka 7 is one of the anime series I've watched to the ending, and actually liked. When I finally got to the ending, all I could say was, "Wow, that was a great ending.", so I hope everyone who is watching, or wants to watch the series finishes it. It is a great anime.

                          NECRO POST YAY! (spoilers ahead)

I just finished watching this series, and I'm a little confused >_>

They never really explained what the LFO's and the Nirvash are. I mean, is the Nirvash an alien craft, or just one of many machines created 10,000 years ago by humanity to combat the Coralians?

I hate endings that do this; they just leave it to your imagination. It's pretty clear that the Nirvash took the Coralians away with it, either to the moon or elsewhere in space only to return when the two can co-exist, but I'm largely confused about Renton and Eureka.

Is she still a bug? The last scene we see is the two of them kissing and seemingly heading back to the Earth. But, they're never shown after that >_>

My only guess is they're both on that train at the end, but of course, god fucking forbid they just show them all happy and together at the end and cut out. Maybe do a shot of what everyone's up to with their lives during the credits. Oh, but I suppose that would be too decent

Bah. Great anime, just wish the ending had been a little more conclusive and not so open-ended. Also would have liked LFO's explained in full (particularly The End... kinda sucks the way it died) and what Duey (sp?) did to get jailed in the 1st place >.>

EDIT: Okay I watched it again paying a little more attention this time >.> that's clearly them together in the forest at the end, though I still stand by my remarks.
