    grrrr.....

    God I can't stand it when anime series turn out to be only the first compilation of manga's... and then it leaves at this huge cliff hanger... and there not making another season because it was intentionally made to just clench you and get you to buy the manga... please can you at least give a decent ending instead... i'm about to stop buying anime and become strictly a manga reader because i've been snagged like this too many times... such a waist of money...

    Atleast Haruhi hooks you up with what can be considered a very good ending...

    Others like Tenjho Tenge and Berserk... just really piss you off...

    I should really do more resarch before i start buying series...

    What's wrong with following a series through both anime and manga? I mean, if you enjoy the storyline (you must do if you want more) then I wouldn't really call it a waste of money ;]

      Berserk for one, the anime was so tuned down its not even 1/10th as good as the manga counter parts.

        Berserk and Tenjho Tenge manga is 100x better in terms of drawing and style.

          Yea. I bought the first DVD Berserk here and was totally shocked how the whole thing are arranged. How they cut right from Gutz' adulthood to adolescent without showing his childhood how already bad. And they changed the whole events that Gutz fell off the cliff with Caska into some kind of weak story about attacking a camp >.< I HATE the latter part so much....

          Not to mention the music was really lame in the Anime...

              A friend of mine really wanted to show me Berserk, so I went over to his house and watched the entire series one day, lol. I liked it...but the ending in the anime was absolutely horrible...it left me depressed and annoyed they they'd end it that way, and terribly mad at Griffith. >_> But then he recommended the manga and I started reading that, it's definitely much better.

                IMHO, very few anime series that involves martial combat/art, medieval sword + magic/fantasy "ends well" compare to their original manga/novel counterpart. The anime series for Full Metal Alchemist, for example, I wanted to throw the entire disc set to the trash can while watching the 2nd half of the anime... >.<

                The next martial combat type anime I want the see is Basilisk ~ Koga Ninpo Cho ~. Just finish reading the manga a while ago, it worthed my time to read. I guess GONZO should not mess up the anime since the story (based on novel) is well defined.
