Anyone seen this fantastic series? For those that haven't, I'll summarize:
Kino is a traveller, and Kino travels with a talking motorrad (motorcycle) named Hermes. They stay for three days (and only three) in various countries throughout a fantasy land, and the show is basically the story of each of these cultures that Kino visits.
This turns out to be a fantastic medium for allegory, philosophical questions and answers, and fable-like storytelling. The characters are well written and there's a definite emphasis on the human element in lots of the stories.
Both thought and emotion evoking. I should note the anime is based on a series of novels.
Some of the episodes are more ambiguous than others, and I'd love to discuss what people interpret them to be, especially when Kino meets the three men working on the railroad tracks.
