The one that seems to be everyone's favorite avatar/signature fodder lately. What anime is she from so I can get it?

She is Suzumiya Haruhi, the leader of the SOS dan, you can watch the anime @ YouTube

This link is from a guy that has all the episodes uploaded (full episodes, not split ones).

I gotta say Haruhi is one of the best (if not the best) animes I've ever seen.

PS One piece of advise, the first time you watch the series watch it in the order they are. Don't try to watch em in chronological order till you've seen the full series at least once or you are gonna kill yourself later on.

Edit> The full name of the series is "Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu" or "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi"

      Thanks ^^d

but uhh, what order? On the link you gave it looks like they're in reverse order. Is the chronological order different from the order the episodes are numbered?

Yes, in the link, you can see that the actual episode number does not correspond to the chronological episode number in the story. For example, episode 9 is episode 14 in chronology.

Start with the episodes numbered 2 and 3, then follow the guided episode list through all the episodes.

Does that not defeat the purpose of Chronological Episode numbers? What happened?

Was the anime made out of order, or something?

Oh, I got it now. So the order I want to watch them in is the order they're actually numbered in. Why do you say to skip the first one?

Because it's a mock film they made, it doesn't add to the story in any way... you can watch it if you want to. It's funny.

Heheh I had to go out so I was only able to post the link. I started watching from the episode 1 (the movie) it does add flavor to the series, plus it's really fun.

The voice actor for Kyon is perfect for that role (well they all are really).

Ok I'm not sure what to think of this. It started off like it was setting up a story by giving a back story to the characters then nothing happened. Is there more then just the 11 or 12 episodes that were there?

Did you see all 14 episodes? Anyways, if the anime leaves you wanting, my friends tell me the manga keeps going. It seems that the anime ended there because they had other projects they wanted to work on. That isn't to say I didn't absolutely love the ending, though.

And yes, this anime is made of win and god. Lolfang-tan (a.k.a. Tsuruya-san)

It's 14 episodes, but they might produce another series in the future.

There are many more Suzumiya Haruhi books, but the anime is mainly about the first novel (The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi) with a few stories from other novels like The Boredom of Suzumiya Haruhi, so there's always a chance.

In any case if the mixed up order confused you then you should watch em in a chronological order next. Many things will make sense after you watch the series a second time in the right order.

Edit> Found the link for Haruhi in the wikipedia that should clear up some doubts you might have about the series, also check the link for the novels (they are still being published).
