A pretty enjoyable series. Hilarious and excellent interpersonal dynamics.

However, it suffered the same downfall as Chobits. In the end, it just took itself too seriously and did not do it well. The Solipsism was a good idea, and enjoyable, until they started focusing on it too much. Then it became more than a plot device to keep SOS moving and turned into an attempt to be serious and intelligent.

Ultimately, whoever was working on the anime failed at that. I walked away very sad because it ended on what felt like a terrible contrived note.
