Animatrix - "Final Flight of the Osiris"

I went to see "Dreamcatcher" today. Well, I didn't exactly go to see that. I went to see the new Animatrix short that premiered before it, "Final Flight of the Osiris", directed by Andy Jones and animated by Square USA, Inc. I must say that of the 3 Animatrix episodes, I found this one to be the best. I dunno. Maybe it was the direct prelude to Matrix Reloaded. Maybe it was the excellent action scenes. Maybe it was the perfectly rendered CGI ass which was stuck in our faces for a good 5 seconds. I just liked it. Anyone else see it yet or are planning on seeing it? I can't wait to see "Detective Story" and "Kid Story", directed by Cowboy Bebop's Shinichiro Watanabe.

I've been debating whether or not to pay for a full movie just to see the short. It sounds weird just saying it.

Don't worry too much about that. Dreamcatcher wasn't horrible. I liked it, but I can't decide how I truly feel about it. The only problem was that I can't understand why Warner Bros. showed a PG-13 rated short before an R rated movie. It was a bihotch trying to sneak in just to see the 10 minute film. :sweat:

I saw Dreamcatcher today too. I was like what the hell , i thought i was here to see Dreamcatcher , as they started to show all this Matrix stuff. The Animatrix stort film was bad ass. The CGI was top notch , almost human like now. Plus the story was a bit sad.

Dreamcatcher was good , there were some cheesy parts but overall i loved it. Gonna pick up the book tomorrow.
