Naruto Comming to america

Some people were talking about naruto in other threads when the topic was differnt and people complined about it so if you want to talk about naruto do it here ok? :spin:

I like Naruto very much! I've never seen the show but I've been reading the manga. It's very addicting! I give it a

It looks like they're going to beat Naruto with an ugly stick when it comes to America. Well, you can always buy the DVDs and watch the Japanese version with English subtitles. That verion is 10++. Of course, it's nice to know the English cast will be as follows, so it won't be as:

-Kakashi will be voiced by Steve Blum (voice of Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop)
-Naruto will be voiced by Johnny Young Bosch (voice of Vash the Stampede)
-Sasuke will be voiced from the guy who did Heero Yuy from Gundam Wing.
-Sakura will be voiced from the girl who did Misty from Pokemon.

Of course, this is somewhat speculation, but I believe that's the cast. I also heard that the three main characters (Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura) will have their names changed to Dexter, Sammy, and Jenny. Oh god, help us. They're going to ruin another great series, after One Piece and Shaman King...

P.S. Gaara can have me babies, even if I'm a guy.

Naruto is very cool started watching it about two months ago and am already up to 141 ^^

Man I need to finish watching this anime. I got to like episode... somewhere in 70s i think. I'm kind of interested in seeing what it will be like, but I really hope they don't change the names like you're saying. Where did you hear that from anyways?

if they changed the names it wouldnt be called naruto would it. so of course they wont be changing it. and yes it is amazing, im only on #44 but had to reformat comp when i moved (last month) so as i am typing this i am actually re downloading them, from 1 to 141 from www.gotwoot.net if any1 is interested, u need a bit-torrent client to download tho

Actually, there was a rumor that Naruto would be renamed Nathan, Sasuke would be renamed Sean, and Sakura's name would stay the same. Obviously that was quickly proven wrong. According to most sources, the name of the anime and characters will stay the same although many changes such as less blood and cursing I supposed will be removed until it comes on adult swim.

Well the are showing it at night which they now show "uncut" DBZ at 10:30 so not all is lost... Still woulda' preferred it on Adult Swim though lol

My friend had said the uncut db thing was just longer stuff that they had cut out for time, not so much swearing, violence, and Roshi's pervy antics.

Hmm, don't know the uncut ones I have seen probably like 2 they did have more in it then before. There is even blood displays that I don't recall seeing there before. Actually the edited version I don't recall seeing a single bit of blood anywere on it, except for maybe that blood fountain but a red fountain of liquid could be seen as almost anything. You wouldn't likely think blood unless you've listened to the characters conversation.
