lol a question ive asked myself many times "Why isnt there a ffxi anime?" I wish i knew enough about computer 3d animation or else i would make a series of free 3D ffxi movies. Im currently learning maya 6 and on a scale from 1 to 10 in knowlege im about about a 3......and ive been self teaching myself for about 4 years......now i know i suck at teaching.

They did make Final Fantasy: Unlimited. Fell on it's arse and got cancelled though.

And I think they tried to make one based on FFVI, but it sucked.

And then there is Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. --;


So I dunno, concerning their luck with media outside computer games I'm not sure what the result would be...

Most FF-based anime tend to fall on their faces because they aren't made by Square-Enix themselves, and the directorial style and storywriting isn't what we expect from something with the Final Fantasy name on it. TSW was made by an American studio, for an American audience. FF:U suffered from an unclear audience, with childish themes and rather strong sexual or violent connotations.

I truly believe Final Fantasy: Advent Children will change this because it is produced by Square Enix, and the majority of the production team worked on Final Fantasy VII.

Personally, I would like to see more of Vana'diel outside of Final Fantasy XI. I'd be giddy as a schoolgirl if Square Enix produced an anime, manga or another game based in Vana'diel.

There is an FFXI Manga serialized in a comic magazine coproduced by Square Enix entitled "Final Fantasy XI: The Out of Orders." Doubt this will ever make it to American shores, though.

In all seriousness, I think I would like to see a Final Fantasy anime. Of course, chances are, with all the elitist, they'll scream bloody murder if its a melee job subbing NIN instead of THF instead of WAR, or w/e those elitist think the bottom line "best" sub is for anything.

Elitist are scary >.>;;; But nevertheless, on the off days I return to FFXI when Star Ocean kicks my arse, I believe I would like to download and watch a FFXI Anime

FFXI anime featuring HNM drama. Also featuring various goblin and ghosts trains to Selbina and Kazham while killing some poor hapless adventurer.

HNM drama is better suited to humor than being in it. i swore i'd kill myself nad delete my char if i ever got involved again with that shit ><; though i can laugh my ass off at it!
