When FLCL first aired on Adult Swim I wound up watching all the episodes out of order and months apart because I couldn't record it. When it went off the air I thought I hadn't seen every episode, not realizing there were only six, and didn't "get" the show at all. When I finally bought the DVD I still had to watch it twice to understand it, heh.
Great, great soundtrack.
