Has anyone seen Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien?

Holy f*** I watched this series because I saw it was rated very high @ animenfo.com and man... words cannot describe how I've felt over the past two days. It didn't take me that long to watch it but the emotional and mental exhaustion I experienced still hasn't left me. I don't know man I've never felt this strongly about any type of media (whether it be movie/tv show/anime/comic/music) EVER BEFORE. Goddamn it I haven't been in a relationship that has affected me like this.

I actually cried, and I'm not talking a few tears, I damn well cried. I love the anonimity (sp) of the internet because other wise I would never have been able to admit that. I haven't cried in over 3 years (and the last time was because I shattered my wrist). Man oh man I need to vent this with someone. I know a lot of people don't usually post in this forum but its the only one I could access easily.

Anyways maybe I'm over reacting and got a little to into it...which I find it strange that I did...

Check it out, it's called "Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien" I got it from supernova.org with BitTorrent, its got all 14 episodes.
BE WARNED, its a mature anime with adult themes that isn't meant for kids and it's an emotional rollercoaster if you get into it.

watched first 4 eps, but it seemed too much like average boy meets girl who meets with an accident and boy finds another girl but first girl comes back making everything complicated... never wanted to dl rest of eps (though i might cuz im running low on anime i haven't seen yet)

I've seen it all. Trust me, the first four episodes are nothing compared to all the drama featured in the later episodes. Sure, it may start off as typical boy-meets-girl, but it ends up being more than that. It gets pretty hard on the angst later on too. Watch the whole thing and I'm sure you'll like it (unless of course you hate drama and such).

Yeah around the tenth episode I wanted to break my monitor because I was getting so pissed off at what was going on. Takayuki didn't deserve Mitsuki's love and care, he just didn't appreciate all he had with her, and that was probably the thing that frustrated me the most. But on the other hand I couldn't completely hate him because he felt obligated to Haruka. Man could you imagine how that must have felt.

Mahoromatic is good. Howeever, I really can't say it rates very high on my scales in terms of drama. Good series nonetheless (and one of my favorite)

I'd have to disagree here. Were I in Takayuki's position, I'd be seriously fucked up by the sorrow and guilt the events would've caused. Takayuki is strong since he bears a burden that he didn't ask for, and didn't deserve. Sure he was a bonehead in some of the situations, but then again, who's to say what the 'right' thing to do in a situation like that was? Just a thought.

yeah, mahoromatic is some f'd up stuff man. makes me mad just thinking about how it ended, so f'd up.

as for the series in topic, yeah ive seen its and its really good, i mean like viscious drama good, but mahoromatics dramatic ending (wether you count the last episode or not) is still the hardest to deal with and the longest to recover from in my opinion. dont get me wrong, kimi ga nozomu eien was similar, but just not as strong.

also, supposedly full moon wo sagshito is supposedly even more dramatic than either of them (so ive been told, and its #3 on animenfo top 100) so im getting that right now.

Yep, I've seen it and it is one of the best, if not THE best anime ever created.

It's been a while since we got some quality anime releases. Most of the recent stuff is made of: exessive fan service (Girls Bravo)/illogical solutions (Samurai 7)/chaotic retards (Ninin ga Shinobuden).

We need more Kiminozo, more Gunslinger Girls and more Shingetsutan Tsukihime. We don't want all that mindless crap they air today.

I felt the same way. Now, I didn't cry in this one, ( I only did once and that was Kanon, around the same time as when my wife left, so I was on emotion overload.) but the end of ep 2 (I think) I was like WTF? Many emotions going on in that one.
