Too many to choose from.....

Black Jack was a very well done movie, good if you are not into heaps of violence. A bit on the gory side though..

Blood: The Last Vampire is another one I've enjoyed that hasn't been mentioned.

I'd have to say my favourite movie that hasn't been made into or from a series (that I know of) would have to be Akira. Maybe it's Kaneda's Bike.

Has to be Howls Moving Castle. I love the Studio Ghibli films with a passion.

Probably Akira, just because how ahead of it's time it was, plus it was a great movie.
