Changed my mind. I forget the baddest, most evil, most sinister mind this side of Planet Mobius; Dr. Eggman! Words can't describe the evil he has done. Heck, he took innocent cute little animals and stuck them in robots! (YES!) He created machines of mass destruction, and played with other's minds (remember Knuckles in Sonic 3?) Oh man, Eggman!

Being a closet Lupin the Third fan, no one can beat the reluctant, yet unrelenting evil of...

        Keibu Zenigata!!!

neoshock: I've also watched Anime Coalition's fansub of Jungle wa Hare, your fans are out there and we appreciate you

hmm... a really bad and horrible antagonist, a person who is without any doubt to be feared and given no pity, a person of pure evil... dunno if those are all that common in anime or in any story, the best candidates I could come up with would be Vicious from Cowboy Bebop, Sephiroth from FFVII, and a new favorite, Fuma from Clamp's X.

Fuma, in the beginning of X, is a normal high school student, if a little protective of his little sister, Kotori. But by the end of the story, he's a sadistic killer, handing out the judgment of death to many, many people. However, even Fuma is not totally evil, his position warrants pity, and ultimately, he is only a granter of dreams, your deepest, darkest desires, which were for his victims, death. He only takes this role to protect his childhood friend, Kamui, though.

In most cases, BUT Lupin is the protagonist and narrative focal point, so technically, he's the good guy.

Kasshin from Full Metal Panic! was pretty creepy too. He had that evil smirk going on full blast.

lolol true but he is only called Dr. Eggman as of recently in the DC -> versions of the game and i don't even think he is called Eggman in japan - Robotnik is the name - chasing hedgehogs is his game

I would have to agree that it was sweet when Vicious pulled out a sword to fight Spike when he had a gun. Along with Vicious was Dilandau from Vision of Escaflowne. Dilandau was just one crazy son of a.......gun.

I love Sephiroth, but he's way overrated. The worst part is barely anyone understands the deepness of his character, they just think "OMFG HE HAS TEH SOWRD I LIEK HIM K" which just perpetuates the negative view old school gamers have of FFVII because they like being stuck up (Okay, that's a generalization, but you've all seen what I'm talking about, I'll stop that sentance here so I don't go off XD)

Also, that wasnt in any way directed at the guy who mentioned him XD

Anyone think that guy...can't remember his name from Lain was pretty scary? I did =/

And of course, I have to mention Sadako. God is she ever freaky ._.

If anyone's seen Earth Defender Mao-chan, the villains in that would make a wrestler soil himself.

I'd have to say though, Kimura is probably the one that would haunt me most in my dreams. *Shudder*

EDIT: Ohmigosh, forgot Hisoka! He's from Hunter X Hunter...He gets "excited" from the thought of fighting, if ya know what I mean

Okay, I know my list is already really long, but there's Ko Yongha from Hikaru no Go too. He's so cool :x
