TOONAMI Replaced Saturday Entertainment Video System?

Why did Toonami replace SVES on Cartoon Network on Saturdays.... I loved watching .hack//Sign, why did they have to take it off the AIR!?!?!?!?!?!

well, since no one had the heart to break yours, i'm just gonna tell you- they werent replaced- they were taken off since their respective series showed like, 3 full times. .Hack is a 30 ep series, and they've had it on the aire for almost a year. In addition, they must have finally gotten around to dubing Inuyasha eps. And i guess they wanted something fresh as we move iinto summer. ya know, instead of having ppl going out on Saturday night, they make sure that the fans still get home in time to watch Inuyasha or something.

but as i see it, its all money. The bottom line is that while .hack was extremely interesting- it relys heavily on the fact that you CARE about the story. Not too many ppl are into that, in fact, i had to smack my couz when he said that Wolf's Rain was boring..

first thing, .hack//sign is 26 episodes long +2 not aired but on dvd

second, .hack//sign is still airing, just a bit after flcl

third, if you love it that much, baka-anime already encoded it, just have to wait for them to release it (unless you have distro over irc)


why watch cartoon network though? i get all my stuff online, and only NEW and UNEDITED from japan... it's fansubed, but it's very good

Meh, I thought that Big O or something came after FLCL, and who knows now since they've shown FLCL for the 3rd full time :p

But I know whats on my DTV (From Time Warner, not Direct TV), and it said on the Line up: Inuyasha @ 11, Wolfs Rains @ 11.5, FLCL @ 12, Big O @ 12.5, Cowboy Bebop @ 1 and then Trigun @ 1.5. Then, THANKFULLY, they repeat all of Adult Swim for the ppl that may have missed it.

But in any case, what you said about the distro thing is right. I usually BT in Naruto and Inuyasha every week, so I know how that is. and also, about the Fansub thing- being that its BY fans, it tends to be good quality... well, thats what I've seen from the likes Of Anbu-AnimeOne and Bakasan.

Oh, btw, I'm the Silencer, so lets all end this post with a great big smile, shall we?

ok, for those who want .hack// series stuff, there is .hack//LoTB 1-4, .hack//Liminality 1-4, and .hack//SIGN 1-2 at baka-anime. rest of .hack//SIGN and LoTB will be released shortly (about 2 eps every 2-4 days, maybe more for LoTB [widescreen animorphic for those that like it that way])
