Hmm, I had mixed feelings about the ending. It was short, didn't make much sense, and felt rushed compared to the pace of the rest of the story. Still, the ending was pretty good ^_^ The Violin solo at the end was just plain awesome, it blended so well with the scene...
Tsukasa's true identity wasn't much of a shock to me. There was alot of hints in the story that Tsukasa was a - - - -. It was pretty obvious when Bear asked Tsukasa if he could be his legal guardian after this.

I was happy when Tsukasa and Subaru met irl. Tsukasa became colored then Subaru was colored. It was a yuri relationship, but still. ^_^

The only big problem I had with the ending is the way it was set up as a cliffhanger for future series. They had to cut my favorite scene short (violin solo), Especially at the exact point where Tsukasa and Subaru would have met for the first time in real life. Tch, pissed me off so much. I don't know why they need to show the giant cell phone thingy at the end.

SPOILERS...possibly (though you shouldn't be in an ending thread unless if you don't want things spoiled XD)

The ONE thing I would have liked would have been to see the gang try and take Skeith, but it wouldn't make sense to have another episode just for that. I suppose the rest was all right.

One thing that still bugs me though: Whatever happened to that bug from episode 1? I felt that created a huge plot hole.

Seriously though, I hated the ending the first time around. I watched it again last weekend for the first time in months and ending up loving it besides what I mentioned above.

since u guys are done w/ the first tv u should check out .hack// legend of twlight's bracelet. the animation is kind of kiddy but this much more action packet than .hack//sign...there up to ep 7 in the subs and one of the characters from .hack//sign is going to make a guest appearance in ep 8

I liked the ending of .Hack//Sign but you are right about it being kinda short and leaves ya haning big time. I did like the final scene when they met awesome moment, i noticed when i watched again that at the end of the first episode u notice that Tsukasa is wearing a dress. My one firend first saw that and he already guessed he was a girl i didnt tell him bout that either. I think he said it jokingly but he was right.

Where are u getting your episodes i usualy get mine off Kazza Or imesh? And now they are showing .Hack//Sign on Cartoon network on Satuday AT Midnight at least in the East Coast. They only show one a week but i have learned to be a patient person when comes to Anime or Games.

Exactly! Sora was one of my favorite characters in Hack//sign, his ability to hover between truth and lies makes him one of the most complicated characters to understand, until the end when he said he wanted to be friends with Tsukasa. At that point I knew he was a person with a general interest in Tsukasa's safety. Yea, I feel sorry for him even moreso since he is just a kind in grade school...

I wonder how Helba all fits into what happened at the end did she want that to happen like .Hack//Infection? In the series she seemed to be in the backdrop but never reveled true intentions.
