He's talking about " I's " , a manga that was released in Japan a while back. It's one of the best mangas I've ever read (next to Love Hina, Ah Megami Sama and others)
I believe that there are translated versions floating around the net, but most of them have shut down.
As for the story, it is one of the best i've ever read. Realistic, tragic, and sometimes hilarious, I's will definitely take you for a ride on a emotional rollercoaster.
Seriously, I've never felt so frusterated at the main character when he messes up in his relationships ^_^ The drawings and penciling are top notch, even better than Love Hina.

I like love hina more then Is. Maybe because i read love hina first, but I liked the funnies in Love Hina. But Is is still good. The reason its called Is is because there are realy 3 I's in the name
and the three are Izumi, Iori, Ichitaka.

I watched the first episode of the OVA series I's just a few weeks ago, and I have to say I didn't like it a whole lot, I downloaded it when it was available through BitTorrent

unless you've read the manga before or at least know who some of the characters are, its a bit confusing I think

the art is pretty and the characters are very complicated, if you want a really involved manga series to read, I'd say go for it

the first episode I saw didn't have much in the way of comedy, a few funny scenes, but its very serious, a character got attacked by some bikers and got knifed... was a bit violent there :sweat:

ohhhh, why did you even watch that crap, the anime isn't even close to what the mangas are. the story is completly fixed. they all they did was say, "Hey, we can't put 15 mangas into 3 episodes so well just compleatly screw the story and and something that no one will ever care to watch." .......don't waist your time on the anime, but read the mangas if you want a love story.

I have volume 1-12 of I"s and I can say I cannot read japanese at all. Why do I have them? Years ago a person I hunted with in EQ who was also japanese asked if I wanted some free manga and he mailed them all to me for free O_O even though I wanted to give him something back or some money, but he refused... oh well:spin:

There are several translations floating aroung the net for those who can't read Japanese. However, the manga's pretty old by now so it's a little harder to find.

Sum1 said they like LoveHina more than I"s:
I"s - more graphic and serious
LH - more jokey and funny

yea, IMO i think LH is better, the whole promise thing and the story and stuff, well thought through... I am NOT talking about the anime. the Love Hina anime tv series was good, the specials were good, the Love Hina Again OVA was absolute crap. the manga (for both) is A LOT BETTER.
