So far i'm on Bleach #25, and it's awesome! I have alot more to go, but what other animes are similar or are along the same lines and style of Bleach? The ones ive seen so far that i liked are:
Samarai X / Kenshin series
Noir
Full Metal Alchemist
Vampire Hunter
Ninja Scrolls
I've seen a bunch more, but they are eluding me atm... I've seen alot of the machine type anime, but prefer the non-machine type.
I got the episode off Tokyotosho, but I hear good things about Boxtorrents too. I don't read the novels so I don't know what's going on but it looks like this season is off to a good start.
Nah, Boxtorrents does complete series, or at least seasons. You wouldn't see Haruhi 2 up there until all of the episodes are out, and have good translations. It's a very nice site for finding quality torrents, but not so much for having the newest stuff.
Another to add to my list. I have been watching "Daphne in the Brilliant Blue" and must say I am enjoying it so far. I have watched the first two DVD's (8 episodes) and am awaiting the arrival of Disk 3 (sent after the others).
i am sure if i made this list on a different day it would probably turn out a bit different since my tastes are always changing and memories are a funny thing.
Because of the general lack of anime in the UK I'll be adding in Manga I've read and enjoyed to pad out the list.
10. Neon Genesis Evangelion - Took be a total of 3 years to watch the entire anime and EoE but it's a good show no matter what the hater say
9. K-On! - The manga is awesome and I really enjoy what I have seen fro mthe show so far
8. Full Metal Alchemist - I can name 5 people I know at college who have been ramming this show down my throat but I caved. I have a couple of episodes to go and I like what I have seen so far
7. Mahou Sensei Negima - I've never seen the anime but the manga is quite possibally one of the funniest harem comedies I've ever read.
6. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - The source of some of the more annoying memes to come out of 4Chan but I can't helo but like the show a lot nontheless.
5. Excel Saga - It's something I have to be in the mood to watch but when I am I'll probably be saying it's the funniest thing ever committed to animation.
4. Ghost in the Shell - Probably what got me into cyberpuink as a genre.
3. Tenchi Series - More for nostaligia then anything else since Tenchi Muyo was the first anime that I ever saw. i've been watching the various series on and off but I always enjoy watching it regardless.
2. Lucky Star - Considering that gamers and anime fans are the target audience for this show it's a bit of a no brainer really. Konata also behaves exactly like a character I created for a roleplaying site which is probably why I like this show more than I should
1. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu - People who know me know that I rave more about Lucky Star then any other anime but this has to be the best one I've seen and is easily my favouite anime. It also has Nagato Yuki who can create a crowning moment of awesome just by reading.
1) Berserk
2) Elfen Lied
3) Hajime no ippo
4) Cowboy Bebop
5) Death note
6) Naruto
7) gravitation
8) Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu
9) .Hack//sign
10) Lucky star
Currently busy looking at Bebop, I'm not far, but i really like it
