Maburaho, a comedy/romance/drama that will hold you and never let you go ^^~

One of my top recommended animes. they only thing i can say is watch the first 3 episodes and you'll be hooked, not even that, you can watch the 1'st episode and you wont be able to remember the name of another anime for another anime, heh maybe a little exageration but its really that good though. what are you waiting for, go d/l the first episode and tell me what you think =p.

ps: i also recommend Scrapped Princess, by the time you finish this series you wouldnt know what to watch next. youll be like " .... will it be better that Scrapped Princess??" lol

It wasn't horrible, but I didn't really like it either. It was quite funny and the girl with the sword was nicely designed (except the silly flame around her sword). Otherwise the character design didn't go too well. The main character is quite annoying and so is the pink haired girl who tries to be too cute.

Also, I think the series wen't a bit too far when every girl in the school suddenly wanted to get laid with the guy. The series seems like some weird otaku's wet dream.

ok so maybe not the 1st eps only. the first 3, and from your descrioption it only seems like a border line hentai filled with fanservice lol, it practilcy has no fanservice in it after teh 2nd episode, and what was shown in the first to was all breife seconds of undergarment shots *which was for magic rating done by school infirmary*

you will like the show as it goes along (strongly reminds me of tenchi, both are the most powerfull people, yet they don't normally show it), until you get to episode 13

i watched it for the big breasted yellow haired girl... but then that got stale.

what show are you watching? i remember one of the episodes where one of the girls is just standing there and her breasts jiggle. how that happens, i have no idea. i think it was like the 5th or something.

but yea. too much fanservice, harem setting... *yawn* nothing beats tenchi muyo on that, and anything else just seems boring and predictable...

i guess if you really like those weak dramedies go for it...

If you only watched it for the fanservice i doubt you would have liked it. Also, whats weak who is practicly killing himself each time to save his friends in one way or another while his friends are the ones trying to save him. Episode 10 or 11 and episode 12 are the most obvious examples of this *but you would have to get that far*. There is another good example but i cant remember the episode number. I'll have to go watch again to see which one it is. The ones i mentioned above are the most important ones that happen so far *its only up to episode 14 now*.

Nah, the yellow haired girl was favorite, because she just wants his seed.

It's just not believable. I stopped watching, I think, when he saves the girl's lunch. Okay, you have what, 8 magic uses and you're gonna waste it on a stupid lunch? And she didn't even give it to that guy she liked. that's messed up.
Then she falls in love with him. Ok that's messed up too.

well, i guess... if that's what you like... but it's not terribly original or entertaining to me.

im starting to think that this series is becoming sort of like chobits (starts as one thing but does a 180 about 2/3 way), though im only on 14 (15-17 are out, but i hate the group that does the subs..)
