I was just curious as to what everyone else thinks about it. I've seen two full episodes while I couldn't really bear (sp?) to get through the 3rd episode. I'm probably not giving it much of a chance, but does anyone know if it starts to pick up soon?

I've seen all the way up to esp 10 so far *latest eps that came out*. It is similar to .hack//sign as far as story pregression. For instance although .hack//sign is about a MMO were you go to dungeons and so forth, there are few scenes were they are actually doing that stuff, its all pretexted or they are just ending / begining it.

Gunslinger Girls is almost teh same way except that they actually show the action but theirs not alot of it. GSG is more about what happens before and after the sortie, the relationship the fratello share and how the instructor and the giata *the girls* react with each other. The story does pick up as you go along but in the " action" aspect of it, it remains the same. Some episodes may have alot of actoin, some episodes may not. I still suggest looking into it further though, you may still like it unless your a complete action buff, then you may not.

I love that series. The story is actually quite realistic with mild sci-fi elements and conenctrates a lot on the drama instead of action and cute girls/cool guys like so many other series.

The short action scenes are VERY well done with some of the smoothest and most realistic animation around. The gun fights are usually over in just a few seconds like most real gun fights probably would.

...yep, just awesome.

i don't really care for the action scenes, but i absolutely LOVE the character relationships and progression.

definitely an a-list here, episode 9 definitely hooked me.

Action is definitely fun, but isn't everything to me. After all .Hack//Sign wasn't heavy on action, yet still pretty awesome. ^^ I'll give it a shot or two. (No pun intended )

eps 11 was freaking awsome, what herinneta does will blow your mind. of course this aint the episode you can just watch without seeing from episode one either. so get on it, catch up, and be very satisfied your watching this series.

Is it as addicting as say... picking up on an episode of Naruto after a couple months and discovering a couple hours later that you couldn't stop yourself from watching more? :dead:
