a real good comedy anime

after seeing full metal panic fumoffo, i am now hooked on funny anime
i just wanted to know if anyone had a good suggestion on some real good ones
it can even be something similar to full metal panic fumoffo

FLCL is a good comedy but, its real short, only 6 eps. Even though it was short I still thought it was good.

I never watched it but I heard Excel Saga was good.

"Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu" and "Shaman King" are pretty nice comedies, Shaman King is also action..

CHOBITS! Not all comedy but it's got a decent plot and you'll want a persocon too. Sumomo is funny as hell.

something like fmp: fumoffu is more like, love hina/tenchi muyo type anime.

of course, i hate anime dramedies. not funny enough to be funny, not drama enough to be drama =P

if i were to steer you into my direction, watch Stellvia of the Universe, which I think is a friggin masterpiece and quite possibly one of, if not the best series i've ever seen.

but if you want pure comedy watch azumanga daioh, the only comedy that really made me laugh out loud.

FLCL hilarious and good story (though its not very obvious and it makes no sense hehe) and Azumanga Daioh is hilarious.

I have yet to see Fumoffu, but out of the anime I have seen, Azumanga Daioh has to be the funniest! Poor Chiyo... *abuses by throwing more volleyballs at her* hehehe...

I didn't really like Excel Saga tho. It seems that after their recap episode that they really died off.

I have to see Azumanga Daioh. I have seen the trailer and the first episode and it was mad funny (the trailer was funnier than the first episode though IMO).

FLCL (Fooly Cooly) is damn funny imo, but it also has a sense of coolness too. I mean, who hasn't wanted to wield a guitar as a weapon? Its storyline is QUITE confusing at first, but after watching it 2 or 3 times through (which doesn't take long) you usually get the picture.

btw, NeoForte, where'd you get that avatar? It rules! . Maybe its just me because FLCL is a favorite, but I have got to know where to get an avatar like that .

Excel Saga is probably the funniest anime I've ever seen!! If you haven't seen it yet, go ahead and rent it...hell, go out and buy it!! It's that good. FLCL was hilarious too, I loved it! Love Hina is another funny anime. I'm sure there are others, but I can't remember now...I'll post them later.

after watching >50 hours worth of anime, i have to say that fumoffu is my favorite comedy anime so far, it is far better than the original full metal panic. it's labeled as love/comedy, but other than about 2 episodes, it's all comedy.
