Ok I think the only reason that everyone hates DBZ sooo much is b/c its so "popular." I mean sure the storyline was bad... and repetitive, and the dialog was bad as well lol. But i gotta say I liked the fight scenes and the Character designs. The voices weren't that bad either. Don't get me wrong I'm past my DBZ days but it wasn't all that bad!!

Actually I started to dislike it for the same reasons you just listed, ie - bad story, too repetetive, bad dialogue. Popularity has nothing to do with it. :sweat: It's actually the same reason I don't watch a lot of anime these days, seems plotlines are getting thin, melding together, it's just a matter of finding which plotlines are being used for which particular show.

There are some anime that just push the fanservice level way too far. Even now, there are more series coming out that feature multiple, useless, "softcore-ish" sex scenes. Being a guy, I must confess that a little bit of fanservice (as long as it isn't completely random and senseless) isn't always bad. But if I wanted to see a bunch of animated characters butt-naked having sex with eachother, I'd watch "Gonad the Barbarian: Search for Uranus." :sweat:

the horrible anime for today?

Dancing hamsters! thats so cool! the only way you can hate that show is if your afraid that people will think your gay or something if you watch it. I thought the voice acting was well done. Yeah, Excel gets on my nerves, but that was on purpose. Illpallazo kills her repeatedly on the first episode for a reason.
I havn't finished this series though, and I heard that after the voice acting change (beginning disc 4 I think) makes the series no where nearly as good.

That's a really stupid reason not to finish one of the most hilarious Anime series of all time. The new Excel voice (done by Larissa Walcott) does a perfect job imitating the original (done by Jessica Calvello) and after the first episode on disc 4, you won't even be able to tell the difference. Besides, you're missing out on things like Ropponmatsu 1 and 2, Excel in America, the Daitenzin squad, and Excel Saga the musical. If the voice change really bugs you that much you could always watch it in Japanese where Kotono Mitsuishi is the voice of Excel the whole way through.

for those who hate and dragon ball series, you should hate dr. slump(same graphics and features aralee(think that is it)
pokemon series 2 and up, digimon seasons 2 to 4(have to say that they both were original until then i did't like the firsts but i can't hate them)
all game based anime (games never make good anime)
all non-japanese anime on adult swim
astro-boy (40 year old anime that is good is hard to find, this is not good though)
patlabor(cheap mech series)
g gundam(the only one i hate)
salor moon(had to tape some episodes for my sister a while back)
sakura diaries and any other hentai

Anyone who doesn`t like Love Hina should be dragged into the street and sh.., erm.. roughed up a bit. That`ll learn em to like one of the funniest animes ever.

And just so those of you who don`t know, Love Hina does have a complete ending. Just watch the season special`s and OAV`s. My fav is the Christmas special =)

Now, as for worst animes..anoo..I don`t really hate any of them, just find many of them dull and lame. (And I`m talking about real anime like Love Hina, Ranma, Inu Yasha, etc. not crap like Pokemon and Hamtaro)
