    oh good gosh, Ai Yori Aoshi, whenever I hear or read the word fan-service, I think of that show (and Eva next, but not in a bad way)

    Ai Yori Aoshi seemed to just be a long string of stories and characters whose only purpose to keep watching is to see the next nudie scene... not that its pornographic, just senseless, and there's no point in the show besides it

    I'd much rather watch Tenchi or Love Hina again if I want to watch a series in a similar genre

    as far as poor anime, hmm...

    Final Fantasy Unlimited
    Rockman EXE
    G Gundam (I like gundam... but this is horrible)

    those come to mind really quickly, and there's plenty of anime I don't care for, these I just think are a waste of time completely

    oh yes, Hack Dusk - Legend of Twilight's Bracelet is pretty worthless, although the other series of dot hack are decent enough
    Lakshmi - Tetto - Mithra Female - RDM73 - MNK49 - BLM38 - WAR35 - BST42 - Rng 32 - THF29 - PLD27 - WHM25 - NIN19 - SAM19 - San d'Oria - Rank 10

      Here's my opinion. DBZ was ok because they were beating the shit out of each other in like every epesode, but the characters were retarded. Pokemon is like my first to hate. Yu-Gi-oh was one of the shitiest animes that I ever saw. Digimon was like a stupid version of Pokemon that tried to make the stupid creatures talk! Lain I didn't get at all. Cow boy Bebob I wouldn't say that I hate it but I really don't have a single clue about the storyline. Love Hina was ok but the voice of the characters were plain stupid. I mean they sound like british people in like the 1700s. There's a lot more I hate but too lazy to post them now but I'm going to put up a list of my most hated animes in rankings.

      1st Pokemon
      2nd Digimon
      3rd Yu-gi-oh
      4th Lain
      5th Love Hina
      I hate my life.

          Oh man I couldn't agree more! Pokemon is the most retarded thing to ever hit TV (besides Barney and the Teletubbies). Digimon blows too.

                I don't dislike Pokemon for the fact that it's a child show, but that it, like many other anime of the late 90s, was spawned for the soul purpose of extending a corporation's reach for power in the world of entertainment. They had conquered gaming, but next they needed to take over television. It's like commercialized rock music, ya?

                Hamtaro on the other hand. Very imaginative and original, and mega-cute.

                Today's hated anime by me - Apocolypse Zero. Even more senseless sex and violence. Sigh....

                  heh I think hamtaro was too cute that I felt like vomitting... I cant stand more than lets say 5minutes of it... but if we are talking about horrible child's anime imported to usa being used by corporations blah blah blah... the worst is bey blade... it has the worst concept and ugly animation... just horrible..

                    Hmm imma have to say

                    KITE - POS right there, i mean what tha shyt? I'm not a fan of weird sex BS in any anime let alone a poorly animated moive. . . the only thing which caught a " haha that's tight" from me were the exploading bullets (which i might add were cool) other than that? the movie was pure shyt =/ As far as Ninja Scroll and Akira making peoples worst lists - i understand that's your opinion but u have to take into consideration how long ago those were made - for their time, you really can't get any better.

                    And i agree with Tifa on the whole how most anime women / females are portrayed, pretty lame and frankly it's getting old. Good thing is i think anime is evolving with the times as we see more lead female characters and less cheesy ones that you depicted Tifa.

                    Back to the Hellsing topic covered awhile ago i think the series was great despite the cray z end. Animation was wonderful, soundtrack owns for an anime and the characters are among some of my favorite - and i dun care for darker styled anime. . . even tho Hellsing really isn't that dark - and to comment on the end of hellsing, it's really not the "end" with a second season coming out

                        (out of the animes that i own)

                        1. Battle atheletes Victory :: it started out good , then got better, but after ichan broke her leg and couldnt go to university satilite with akari then it got stupid. then it got funny with chris and the other one (cant rember her name but its the same vioce as shinobu from Love Hina (same english voice)). then it gets stupid whenever they start OVERPLAYING the frined ship and connection between hearts and all that bull. it was fine and tolerable at first but they make almost a whole episode about it... it got better when the little one told her background story, then it got worst when they were competting agains the two senors. then it got stupid when akari and the other one finally raced eached other as there was no competition. as for the last dvd it went from good, to stupid, to shock (tomoway mido (sp?) to stupid to stupid to stupid. and so on. cant blieve i wasted a total of 85+ USD on the series.

                        2. then there digimon, i think it sucks that they didnt continue the series on public televison (i dont have cable >.<) other wise it was greate, i espically like how much more charecter development it had over the overly repatitive pokemon and they actually showd emotional feelings toward one another unlike pokemon and peopled actually died unlike pokemon, and people actually got heart unlike pokemon, and it was a progressibe storyline that had a good script (dispited dubbing) unlike pokemon. it was just overally good for a kids anime.

                        3. pokemon.... what more is there to say but the title as thats more than enough reason for it to suck

                        4.
                        {
                        ifstream indata;
                        indata.open("channel:\\foxbox", ios:: in);

                        while(!indata.eof())
                        {
                        indata>>tvprogram1>>tvprogram2>>tvprogram3>>etc.;
                        }//end while
                        cout<<"what does it matter what i type, all that is equal to foxbox suks"<<endl;
                        }//end main

                        5.DBZ, dont know why, i just stopped likeing it after a while. probally cuz my taste of anime as grown since then.

                        6. love hina :: now i loved love hina but the lack of conclusive ending makes me dislike it a little bit. and the fact that episodes 10-20 were jsut filler episodes and didnt hold no true story development except for refrencing in later episodes but were still fun to watch ^^.

                          TBoTB, i think that you should read the mangas to Love Hina, there is an ending to that. Don't watch anime version, anime version bad, no good, teh suck!!

                              I'd have to say my least favorite anime has to be Debutaunte Detective Corp.... it looked fun in the preview at the time, but sucked on toast upon actually watching it... now I'm stuck with it 'less I chuck it out the window or sell it somehow. :sweat:

                              Other than that, I'm one of the people on the Akira & Ninja Scroll are way overrated bandwagon. It really does get annoying when someone finds out you like anime and they immediately ask "Have you seen Akira / Ninja Scroll??" like they're the only "good" anime out there... sure they have good animation, but so did, say... Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust... animation doesn't make the movie. :sweat: I'd take the original Vampire Hunter D over Bloodlust any day.

                              Another couple that just got way too boring for their own good - Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon, etc. I used to like both (back in the day...), but then they started to drag on, and just weren't fun anymore.

                              Someone mentioned the dubbing on Tenchi... it's one of the few I can stand dubbed. :sweat: I actually like the English Washuu more than the Japanese one sometimes. You want bad dubbing, look no further than Excel Saga... I can honestly say I have seen some horrible dubs, but that one takes the cake as THE WORST EVER. I'm sorry ADV, but an overly scratchy voice that beats itself into your head not unlike a 2-ton sledgehammer is not a good choice for a main character, ESPECIALLY not the main of main characters that talks for 90% of the show.

                              Final note I guess is on the american domesticating of anime for TV showings... they do pick some of the lamest and unpopular anime to air, but then when they choose a good one (like Escaflowne) they butcher it (be it through editing out certain scenes / frames to changing the script altogether) so as to be almost an entirely different show. It's a good idea to widen the masses' view of what anime is, but then it gets hindered by hideous chunks of editing and rewriting... then add some horrible voice acting done by people they obviously pulled off the street, and viola. Grade A Crap.

                              Anyway, there ya have it, my disliked anime.

                                I know exactly what you mean about TV broadcasting. Every time a good series gets picked up for syndication, its edited and americanized to kingdom come. Oh, I can't wait to see what Cartoon Network plans on doing to ruin Rurouni Kenshin.

                                The ONLY point id have to disagree with you on is the dubbing of Excel Saga. In the first few episodes of the series, I feel that Jessica Calvello did an excellent job with Excel's voice, and that she could be the only person who could ever do it right. Usually when an anime is dubbed in english, the english cast sounds nothing like the japanese cast. But, I feel that she did an excellent job of doing whatever it was to get the true annoyance and obnoxiousness that is Excel, and at times, I think she sounded better than the original actress, Kotono Mitsuishi. Unfortunately, she had to quit the show, because her doctor told her that she could ruin her voice forever if she continued screaming like that for such prolonged periods of time. :sweat:

                                But of course, that's just my opinion. I have wacky feelings about dub tracks as well. Evangelion is my favorite anime, so I enjoy that dub track, although there are many times in which I cringe at the sound of a few scenes, and the horrible re-casting for the movies. I love the English cast of Nadesico, but dislike the Japanese cast. I love the Japanese cast for Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, but hate the english cast. Meh, I'm just wierd. :spin:
