ive been meaning to pick up a copy of this but never had a spare 10 bucks anywhere it was for sale, but today and barnes & noble i had a giftcard i got for christmas, i got this and a love hina manga, wow, this magazine is great so much stuff, totally awesome i need 90 bucks for a subscription definatly lol

yep, the sub is costly but well worth it for such an informative mag.

it's english and right to left, but the article starts on the right?
so i'm reading about udon (wow, essential to all your anime needs) and the article starts on the left side. continues to the right. and the article continues on the right side of the page? i seriously don't get it.

i like my magazines to cover new stuff too =P i don't like reading about evangelion 2-3 years after its release.

well in the recent issue they cover the "renewal" edition that dropped this past year in Japan. thats why your seeing more on it now. Also, the Eva issue from a few months back covered the news of the Live Action Film.

The pictures look better, they cover more recent anime (for people who watch fansubs, like me), and the articles are better.
