its finally here, the first episode has been showed, and it was supposed to air episode two the night before
someone on another forum had a link to the time schedule in Japan, ill find it later or if someone could post it before me that would be cool

the opening is so damn catchy. catchy like someone doing kareoke(sp?)....

Just got the 1st ep on bittorrent and I must say this series has already impressed me...

The animation is excellent, especially the fight scenes...
The music is tight (underground hiphop is the best)...
Story is pretty well setup already for only having one episode...

you don't even have to watch long to take in the evident influences from Cowboy Bebop...
It's a formula that works for some reason...
Space + Wild West + Jazz → Feudal Japan + The Fugitive + Hip hop...

I saw it yesterday DJ ... love at first sight . I like Mugen a lot his moves are stort off freestlye and he break dances :sweat: bar far the coolest samurai character i've seen

A great description really.

This series (two episodes in i know) is pure class. If i were to close my eyes i would think i was watching cowboy bebop based off of the music. You can compare the animation quality to the Cowboy Bebop: Knocking on Heaven's Door (the movie). Fight scenes are quick paced but you can actually follow them! not like some DBZ crap where you just see hundreds of fists flying and eventually some guy gets beat up. A great example of how the fights pan out if you've seen it would be the first Kill Bill. The animation portion is done by the same team. During large fights they like to use the shakey camera effects and have the camera follow the attacker.
Each character is unique but somthing people can relate to and enjoy.
Only real complaint but i love it at the same time is the numerous cliches found in the first two episodes. But they chose to do cool cliches at least =D I'm usually not one for "pirating" but do yourself a favor, get bit torrent setup (if you don't have it already) and give Samurai Champloo a look. I predict it'll be the new big thing, but for good reason.
