Was that really the last Ep of Kenshin, i was told it was....they cant leave it off there....lol but if i was a maker i would end it there....it makes ppl wonder Did they Escape..did they die

No, there is 1 more episode relating to the Kyoto saga, it tells of what comes of Kenshin/Aoshi/Sanosuke/Saitou and what happens to the surviving Juppon Gatana. After that, there are about 3 more sagas of uselessness (my own opinion), which I think is the reason Cartoon Network didn't buy em.

I don't watch cartoon network but from what you described it sounded like you are at about episode 58-62 on the Fire Reqieum Dvd of the Legend of Kyoto series .. The last episode that I know of is episode 95 in the tales of the Meiji series. It's more fun subtitled since you miss Kenshin's trademark "Oroooo!" @.@x;;

I think Cartoon Network just aired episode 61 last week. Basically after the Kyoto arc I think it goes downhill. Its nothing but filler episodes and filler arcs. Though the Tsuiokuhen (Reminisence) OVA was nice, on the other hand the Seisouhen (Reflections) was complete BS in my opinion ..

Yes, there's one more ep in the Kyoto arc. The rest of the series up to 95 is terrible.

There are a total of six OAV's that are much better than the series - four detailing Kenshin's early life and two showing what happens with the characters later in life.

A hotbed of controversy among many Kenshin fans is the fact there was one more major story arc known as the Jinchuu arc that was never animated fully. Among other things, it showcases more of the best character in the series, Saitou Hajime

It's a very good series and, hopefully, with the publication of the Kenshin mangas in November, the series may be animated. Perhaps that's just wishful thinking though.

Yea the Jinchuu arc is great. The Seisouhen OVA (OVA depicting after the series) was basically like a super compressed and butched version of the Jinchuu arc. It took out so many fights and character background on Enishi .. it would of been so great if they could of animated it ..

Haven't you seen Rurouni Kenshin: The Motion Picture? that gives you a bit more story after ep. 95 or 97 or whatever the last episode i watched was. Gotta love DVDs XD

But i still feel that the story has not come to an end. I wanted it to end with him and Kaoru and all the other couples together. That would'a been ace.

I also urge everyone who hasn't yet seen the OVA series to watch them. It shows the road Kenshin had to follow to get to where he is now. Great stuff!
