Okay, I just watched the ending to blue gender and it did not make no sense at all. I dont want to reveal anything that happens in case some of you missed it. But if someone could explain what it all means it would be good. Because this was a good series while it lasted and its killing me to not understand the ending.

the planet enacted a "suicide" order... like Miyagi said.
Human overpopulation, the planet can't sustain... so it created the B-cells... eventually the B-Cells would cause enough humans to go beserk and kill off a large population before they are themselves killed. the proof of this is Tony, and the remaining sleepers on Second Earth going berserk.
the problem was mankind's messing with the B-cell... THEY created the blue... basically speeding up process.
the last blue was created to fight the last remaining "sleeper"... but really, it isn't a blue (no core)... just something to clean up the process.
with only one "sleeper" left... no Blue, the creature dead... and a mass population decrease... the process was complete.
the planet has basically "reset" itself... and can sustain life again.
no need for blue, no need for b-cells, and no need for "sleepers"Doh! Double OHH!!! -
at first it sounds like a "happy" ending
