WTF to the max!!!!

I finally was able to watch the final episode of Trigun and all i can say is wtf!
Was it just me or was this the most anticlimactic series in creation. I was all psched after watching the other episodes and then it ended like that!!!
NO super secret moves or crazy twists!! WTF

but maybe i just didnt get it . Stuff like that happens some times:spin:
Feel free to explain why i should be happy over the ending if you must but man i feel so dissapointed.:sweat:

I'm not the biggest fan of the Trigun series... I think it could've been one of the greatest animes ever. It had a great overall concept. But I feel overall, it was ruined by annoying characters (not vash or priest man but all the others) and villains. However, I actually did like the final episode. What kind of climatic ending were you expecting? True, there was no big twist but it seemed to be climatic to me.

Maybe I'm just a sucker for the hero to face the villain at the end of a story (like Luke vs Vader) but I thought it was cool how it summed up all of Vash's past and ended in a battle between Vash and his arch nemesis.

I'm probably one of the few people who couldn't care less about Trigun, but despite that I actually liked how it ended, and not because the series was over but because it finished with absolutely no loopholes. Still, if you weren't satisfied with the Trigun ending you can always buy the Trigun Maximum manga and hope its ending is more satisfying. =P

well, i have to go with wolverine with this one. the ending sucked like crazy! what they should have done is show a peaceful wonderful life, if he could have just been like a hero and save everyone like he promised rem:sweat: this kind of endings suck, gives me the same feeling with (outlaw star & cowboy bebop ) well if you guys liked it, i can't say anything:confused: . they way i think trigun should and is if vash and knives could have seen the light and stop fighting and have a happy life with the people in town....expecially myril and mylee or something like that. something with a good, happy feeling. a feeling like how you know you had an A on a school test or you won 60 billion $$ lol:spin: well, that all i can saw hee hee.....

What I love about anime is that they often have serious endings to them and do not feel like a disney movie.

I would have to agree with kosh on that last comment. I'm all for good endings but the occasional twist or serious ending is fine to. Gives me something to complain about.

well i see now, i see that you guys like the manga type of anime and seem s to like the hard endings. for me i like the the cool funny endings like from (love hina, sorcerer hunters, rune soldier, onegai teacher, i my me strawberry eggs, video girl ai, ranma 1/2, inuyasha, dear boys, happy lesson, and all those other sex-comedy types ^_^). those are the type of anime i love watching, or maybe it's beacause i'm a girl >.< hee hee you boys will be boys.....lol
