anyone going to otakon 2003??

anyone else here going to the otakon (think thats how they spell it) 2003?? I was going to go as goemon (form Lupin the 3rd) but i had to cut my hair for this play I was in (Grease) and now i'll not be able to go as goemon...:dead: oh well. it's still gonna rule, maybe i'll cut my hair shorter and just go as Lupin, that way the costume is much easier to find too. Anyone else going and what are you going as? (if anything...)

Well i just went to AFO this past weekend and Yasumicon before that....but there really needs to be some FFXI ppl who go to cons in Florida lol.. I would really like to see someone Cosplay as like a DRK or a NIN or something. It would be interesting..with a giant floating name above their head. lol...I can dream, no?

I'll be going to Otakon . Don't know if I'll have a costume this year though, haven't had the time unfortunately.:sweat: I'm half tempted to dig up my old Alita outfit though.

its the 8th, 9th, and 10th of this month...next weekend to be blunt. Man if I had a kimono i'd go as goemon in a heart beat...f'ed up hair or not... ...oh well there is always next year to cosplay. If you see a dude with a really retarded hair cut you'll know it's me.

well i got my hair cut...even shorter~ but at least now it doesn't look so retarded. I could go as lupin...but...my dad's such a dork! He doesn't even have a red blazer I could barrow! , oh well. What do you think the chances are that i can find a hotel room without reservations?? Snowballs chance in hell? If you read this before tomorrw give me some feedback on that. When i get back i'm gonna make another thread called "exploits of the otakon 2003" or something like that. Be sure to share your experience with us all. That way maybe next year more people will come!! Btw...if you see a semi short brown haired dude(semi short hair) walking around it's me. My bud's going as Jigen and he'll be with me. Not that you'll have a chance in hell of spotting me but whatever...see you all tomorrow!...sorta.
