Cowboy Bebop The Movie

I just went to the store and picked up a movie that cought my eye, COWBOY BEBOP THE MOVIE. I sat there and thought about buying it then said "what the hell" well all i have to say is ......... WOW! It was slow in some areas but it picks up the pace in some places but it is a great movie that had me wanting more.... This is an awsome anime which didnt deserve the "R" rating it got. It wasnt that bad there are a few harsh words and a little blood but that is all. So if your turned off by the rating dont sweat it. Well I liked it alot and highly recomend it for any anime lover that loves this series or just wants to see a movie with a GREAT plot. Im giving this a movie a 9 out of 10.... now you go watch it and tell me what you thought....

yeah my friends and i can't figure out why they scraped the original subtitle "Knocking on Heavens Door." we did realize why it was so delayed though for US release with all the shots of the twin towers and the theme of terrorism n whut have you. (fruity). but yeah as far as animation goes this one ranks up there with the best - so crisp, smooth, great frame rates. Has all the style of the series. . . Spikes still a smart ass - Jet worries too much - Faye too little - Ed is crayzier in this i think lol - Ein is Ein. Vincent is one wicked of a bad guy - Electra, despite her name . . . is an awsome addition to the cast. And last bit i really enjoyed was the jazzy soundtrack (well most of it). Bebop has some of the only music i'd listen to outside of an anime or show. Annnd time for sleep =.=

it was ok

dont get me wrong cowboy bebop is my favorite anime of all time. I just thought it could have had a better story than that. It was a recall of the other bioterrorism group who were trying to protect sea rats. I liked the action and everything but the story could have been different and changed.

I voted an 8. The movie was excellent in it's own story. The only thing I wish it had were some stuff about Spyke's past. You would think a CB movie would be made about that :D But it was very good.

well i have the movie, but im yet to remove the plastic wrapping around it. i really should watch it, i heard it was good.

I watched it a long time ago on my friends computer with english subtitles. I liked it but I didn't bother to pay money for the english one sense I had already seen it .

The movie was the best!! gave it a 10!! If you want to learn about Spikes past just get the whole series...... I have the boxset and the movie is a nice addition I am just trying to find out when in the series the movie might of taken place but I am not to sure..... If anyone can think of when it might of taken place let me know please I have a few thoughts but not too sure!!

Yeah Id defanitly call this one a must see, I got to see it on tha big-screen (only other anime I seen ina theter was Vamp D: Bloodlust)

Well the only hard evidence is that Edd is there and sense she (yes she is a she just concentrate in the series and they reveal it a couple times) joined late in the series we can only assume it happened after that. That is the only clue I got .

I remember hearing somewhere that the movie took place between ep. 24 and 25...

btw. ever notice how Edd never seems to be around when a "Plot" episode was goin on? lol that was prolly a good idea, I just see Edd biting Vicious... Vicos... ahhhhhhhh!!!! damn dyslecsia...VISH-US's ear...
