i happened to see one of the episodes last week
it was ok

i like the characters and abilities and stuff but they could take alot more farther, they have all these little side stories that are stupid. and 009 is cool but hes a normal android like them not much special.you are here alone again, in your sweet insanity

ugh, i hate this anime :mad:
the first thing that really urks me about it, is the crappy artwork... ugh, i cant look at it! =P mind you, its far better than anything i or anyone i know could draw =P but, i really dont like the artist's style...
second thing.. the story is ok, but there really isnt any where it can go... "grrrr, you made us strong, so we can kill you!"
and yet, they never all work together to just kill the company or whatever that turned them into androids seems like a very drawn-out plot to me...
third thing, it sux, yuo sux, everything SUX. so there >=P~Chipmunk~

on my day off yesterday i saw what was the "final battle"
kinda weak, but the android with the hair over his right eye was ok

Hmm, well I actually kinda liked it, and the Final Battle episode wasn't the last one, there's more new episodes still coming on. I mean, c'mon, Black Ghost was defeated way to easily for the series to end.

i tried....
I tried watching cartoon network and cyborg 009 in particular. i tried. I really did. just like people try and commit suicide and fail. I dont know i think its the character desgin but it just hurt to watch.I havent seen a japanese version to compare it to. But im sure the english voices suck compared to japanese. not a fan at all and i dont plan on putting myslef through the pain and anguish of watching cartoon network again.Have a nice day!Comment

but it realy screamed "Random Crappy Saterday Morning Cartoon Show" to me, bah I throw this one in the same bin as Pokemon and Sailer Moon.^

This show is sooo sucky I hate it! Its almost as bad as Kikaider they took Inuyasha and Cowboy Bebop off adult swim for Kikaider and Lupin. I kinda like Lupin but not as much as I like Cowboy Bebop. Now they got Fooley Cooley and thats pretty cool but I want Inuyasha and Cowboy Bebop back on! I really don't know why im asking this because i thought Kikaider was absolute crap. But I guess I'm just curious. I've never watched Cyborg 009 but I saw that it has the same art as Kikaider. So my question is... Did Cyborg 009 come out a long time ago and is Kikaider a sequel/prequel or remake of it? Or is it the other way around. I have no clue why Kikaider was even on Adult Swim.. it seemed like Toonami material from the few episodes I could stomach. Oh well, it just seemed like a really bizare show to me and I was wondering what the exact relation it had to Cyborg 009 was (besides the art-or is that it?)Comment
