It's definitely a nice, sophisticated anime which is driven by mysterious, likeable characters and does not rely on fanservice to keep viewers interested in it's already deep and involving plot.
The only flaw I see in Noir is that a noticeable amount of the actions scenes aren't very exciting. There's not enough "wow" in them.
The bloodless violence in an anime mature as Noir doesn't help, either. There's something about a series aimed for older teens and adults about 2 female assassins which doesn't show the tiniest drop of blood when a secret agent gets shot 4 times.PSN ID - PaiPai Gamertag - PaiPaiMaster Steam ID: Pai Pai Master

yeah that's another thing i didn't like. that damn music box song and the little remix version of it...over and over and over again...the music is probably the biggest weakness of the series. but nothing is without flaws ^_^PSN ID - PaiPai Gamertag - PaiPaiMaster Steam ID: Pai Pai Master

Noir was really anticlimactic. The first episode really grasped me in because it was nothing like anything I've seen before, but that was all it had going for it. The entire story revolved around the few things that they showed in the first few episodes, but it never expanded or introduced new things in the plot so you could guess what was going to happen next.
The anime is definitely not for people with ADD since the story progresses extremely slowly. On top of that, Noir repeats a certain scene at every opportunity it gets, and due to the boredom the scene created I found myself drawing my own conclusions on how the episode was going to end every time it came on, and the majority of the time I wasn't too far off either since everything was so predictable.
Anyhow, I believe the composer of Noir's soundtrack is Yuki Kajiura, the same person who did .hack//SIGN's music. I really didn't like the music in Noir either. It gave me new kinds of headaches.WAR20 MNK12 WHM28 BLM31 RDM60 THF21 PLD14 DRK20 BST6 BRD42 RNG16 SAM11 NIN40 DRG10 SMN10

The series composer is Yuki Kajiura.
I think he makes good music, but it's just repeated too many times  that's not his fault though!
He also did music for .hack//SIGN, and he will compose the music for Xenosaga Episode II.PSN ID - PaiPai Gamertag - PaiPaiMaster Steam ID: Pai Pai Master
