Probably the best show they have going for them, Inu Yasha, is going to be replaced by Big O. What a crappy show.. plus no more cowboy bebop, trigun only once a week... the only thing CN has going for them now is Harvey Birdman and Trigun each only once a week. HB is hilarious.. makes fun of all the older cartoons. How can they play crap like Reign, Big O, and Kikaider and take out bebop and Inu Yasha.

when they first started playing inu yasha, I got very interested in the show, so rather than waiting for them to show it once a week (which they showed like the first 20 episodes then repeated them) I went and downloaded them.
now I have inu yasha 1-110 and the movie

oh btw, it is legal to download fansubbed anime episodes as long as they haven't been liscenced for distribution in english yet ^^

Actually, its perfectly legal to download any anime that has be licensed, its illegal to distribute it. Its kind of like selling cigarettes to underage kids, you can't. But they can smoke if they get a hold of them .

ya, if it was illegal to download i would have been arrested 1000's of times. I dont go out and sell copies or anything it just sits on my hardrive and i burn away to make space. I love cowboy bebop but i have seen the whole series over about 6 times, inuyasha is awesome and i recomend downloading them over watching off CN. Kikaider is cool and its a short series. I remeber Big O right when it got interesting they took it off they better show new episodes. Trigun was ok but i didnt think it was all that great as some people make it out to be. Reign was good once through and after that i gave up on it. Wel see how this Cyborg009 turns out this monday.

I love that show...
maybe some of you just don't like Peter Chung's art style...
but the retelling, story-development, and historical congruency of Reign: The Conqueror is astounding...

sheesh, kikaider isn't crap! anyone who insults such a historic series must be killed! :p

by the way, Inu-Yasha is only being taken off air until more episodes are translated. That's how cartoon network works. would you want episodes being repeated every 2 months like with Dragonball Z? Cartoon Network is also doing this with Futurama, replacing it with Home Movies until Fox is finished airing the season 5 episodes, so that they can be aired in the regular cycle on Adult Swim.

Also, it is illegal to download anything that has been liscenced. Why? Because whoever has that fansub is distributing it. Once a show is liscenced, it is the sole property of the Japanese company that created it and the American company which publishes it. In fact, I'd be careful if I were you, because the downloading of anime is beginning to piss off animation companies just as much as the downloading of music is pissing off record labels.

What are you talking about? What about YYH? Sure, they are just showing reruns for now, but still, any re-run of YYH I think is better than Inu Yasha.

I agree whole-heartedly. Tezuka is a genius. His shows and movies never cease to amaze me with their creativity and style. Kikaider is a great show that doesn't follow the typical vapid humanoid robot action series stereotype, and adds a lot of metaphysical and emotional situations. Along with lots of style.

You always seem to have a great opinion on anime PaiPai. *salutes*

Anyway, I don't care much for Reign, I like the art style, it's original. but the plot is one giant hole that doesn't make any sense no matter how you try to explain it. The characters are pretty 2 dimensional as well, and don't get me started on the awful dubbing. The action sequences and art are the only good things about it, if you ask me.

Inuyasha is a great series, but it won't be gone forever. It's too popular for them to take it off for good. I enjoy it very much, but watching the same episodes over and over kinda washes out the flavor of it overtime. I would rather see the rest of Big O, which was left at a cliffhanger ending so many months ago. Big O is a pretty good series in my opinion. I like some of the characters, and the (gloomy) 1950's atmosphere of it is kind of refreshing.

I just wish they would put Yu Yu Hakusho back on Adult Swim, so at least it won't be hacked to the degree of shit it is on Toonami, geezus.

August 4th, FLCL joins the Adult Swim lineup. All 6 episodes will be aired uncut and cycled through multiple times.
