Filter problems with the site, please be patient

As some of you are experiencing, we are still having problems with a spam filter we use to combat the RMT ads that spam this site (which most of you don't see because either the previous working filter took care of it or the mod staff did). A change was made recently due to some heavy spamming from a certain group of individuals and that change seems to have adverse affects.

If you've been a victim of the message rewriting, please understand that it is not our intentions to harass or attack you (we were saving that for the actual spammers). It is a mistake and we apologize for the troubles it has caused you. We are trying to get this fixed as soon as possible, but only the Admins can affect this kind of change so we ask that you please be patient.

Thank you for your understanding and again we deeply apologize for the inconvenience.

EDIT by AKosygin: Users whom have not been registered long enough will not be allowed to make URL links. (And the new corrected message from the default setting will indicate this.) As such, please go back edit your post and do not use the URL function until you have been here for awhile. The restriction will automatically be lifted after some time.

well we thought the message would be incredibly funny to use against the RMT spammers. little did we expect it to back fire on our normal members...

not sure what's up with Sebastien's post though, will have to PM Akosygin about that

if you put a limit on how many times on must post befoe the URL Fuction opens then RMTs will just add in to post to get past the limit and if you make it so said account must been created for 2 weeks then they will just make accounts and wait 2 weeks and then do it, i can't see no way around it without messing up the normal members hopefully the RMT will get bored with bannings on this site and leave

As long as they got gil to sell, they'll keep trying simple and sad for us v.v
