  • REMINDER: Your registered email.

I would like to take the time to remind all members visiting the boards to keep their email address updated in their profile.

If your email becomes invalid and starts to bounce, the boards is set to return you back to "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" meaning that you will need to either
A.) Fix your email box and then tell the system to resend the confirmation; OR
B.) Change to a valid email address and accept the confirmation.

Users ending up in the "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" group will lose posting privileges. As such, to prevent the sudden lost of access, please keep your registered emails updated in your UserCP. If you have changed email address or lost one, please update to a valid email address. Please also note that you may need to confirm your email address when you change it in the UserCP.

If you have any further problems, please PM an administrator and one of us will attend to you as soon as we can.

    Thank you,
    AKosygin

Thanks for reminding me to change that, it was still going to my POL account.

AK, I think I told PiNG about this, but I don't think it's fixed yet, the User CP drop down link doesn't seem to work in Safari, any idea why?

      It works for me.
I use a Mac because I'm just better than you are.

t version of safari are you on? I'm on 1.3.2 (OS 10.3.9), so if you're on 10.4, that could explain it.

Yes I'm running Tiger (Intel MacBook, don't have much of a choice).

If you have the latest version, it should work. Alternatively you just click on the settings link and go to the general settings page then to the email change page.

                Re: REMINDER: Your registered email.

I'm not talking about the mail settings, i'm talking about User CP.

The rest of the links on the drop down settings menu work fine, however the User CP link does not work correctly on Safari 1.3.2 - and I can't upgrade because i'm running OS 10.3.9

The user CP link allows it to be highlighted and clicked like a link, however it doesn't actually open a page when clicked.

                  Re: REMINDER: Your registered email.

Ah. What I meant is that if you see drop down, you cannot use the SETTINGS button, as the JavaScript overrides it, that is intended; otherwise, when you click on SETTINGS to expand it you will be taken to another page before you have a chance to select something on the drop down.

On the other hand, if the JavaScript drop down doesn't work, then the SETTINGS button can be clicked on to take you directly to the settings main page. So it is one or the other, not both.

I can click the settings button and open the drop down list. My problem is that the USER CP link DOES NOT WORK.

OH! That is weird for you. Hummm... tried Firefox, IE, Opera, asked a friend on Safari.... it works. I guess it must be outdated.
