please continue to support Alla. It maybe owned by a company that supports IGN and RMT, but just because it owns alla doesn't mean that alla is now a gil seller.

I wouldn't support them. For every day I been playing this game, I been against gil sellers. Between camping against them, to pretty much boycotting items they camp/sell, I don't want to be like "I hate Gil sellers, but I'll stay on a forum they happen to own."

You aren't only supporting Gilsellers, but also veteran and new players as well as Alla.

I don't think Alla is in any danger of going under because those of us who disagree with this business decision have left. They are aquiring the traffic from Thottbot (a WoW database) and OGaming, and they are still a very well-known site. I feel better about my decision, and I sincerely doubt they'll miss my premium.

The moment alla decided to be a part of the people that run our game, steal our mobs and inflate our economy is the day the diged their own grave. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but supporting a site that promotes RMT is not something many people would want.

I'm not a Feba fanboy, but i agree in what he agreeing to right now. I don't post much, pretty much lurk around alla unless i have something important to say. It seems your Alchemy forum is lacking so i might make a guide once i get my alchemy up, also a fishing guide :D.

I feel WAY disappointed in alla since they've sold out, and considering almost 95% of the information there is user-given/driven. All thats left in the main forums there now are ignorants not knowing what happened or those people who want to take the "badass" throne Feba had(super attention whores right now) . I just hope they don't come over here and start a flamefest : :.

Anyway, thank you for the warm welcome! I hope i can be of help to this IGE-free community!

sidenote: in the history of IGE it says that that IGE bought out alla, so the bigger company IS IGE, using a sockpuppet... i think ><.

Hello everyone!!

I am another refugee from Alla, lol. I didn’t post much because most of the topics were negative (attacks on other people, jobs, etc.), or I was ignorant on the topic (I still have a lot to learn).

The amount of reference information (i.e. item search) on Alla was nice, and I will miss using those resources. However, I cannot condone gil selling/buying, and I try to have little to do with those organizations that do (directly or indirectly).

Anyway, and I am looking forward to the future!

I'm also disappointed in this merge, I've used Allah as my first source and while Allah did have some info that was inaccurate and unconfirmed.... (Like the Millionare Desk giving TH, and a lot of other equipment that had people believe SE would raise the level cap, or putting certain mobs in the incorrect family) They still were a good source since unlike many sites I've seen, people could post their experience for battles for missions/quests/etc.

And now this. Allah used to erase posts when members mentioned selling accounts and etc. and here they are now merging with a compnay that bought IGE, so it's an end for Allah being one of the few RMT free sources for FFXI.

I'm relieved to know that FFXIOnline doesn't have a problem with the Alla refugee's coming here. Thank you for welcoming us. ^_^

I hope that this site never makes such a money-hungry decision the way the Alla did. What they did is almost disgusting, I'm so disappointed by all this. RMT's seem to be taking over, buying everything and anything... but something has to give, eventually. This can't go on forever.

Anyway, thanks again for welcoming us. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we appreciate your hospitality and are happy to call this community our new home. ^___^

^^ i joined up here a few months ago, and stopped usin Alla imediately. Peeps here are alot more helpful.

Also, to those who aren't aware, there's a large modding community interlinked between here, ffximc.com and ffxidats.com

check it out, it can bring new life into the game when you're getting bored. ^^ recently downloaded the armored chocobo, and now i ride them everywhere.
