Hello, I am a former Alla poster. I am glad to have been pointed here. Can you all imagine how much better any online RPG qould be if there was no RMT ? The amount of time legitimate players will put in farming just kills me. It is not any fun. I used to be a Monk, before RMT destroyed the fun for me of that job by pricing everything so freakin high. Now I play Bard. Anyhow, hello everyone.

I don't remember how I found this site either honestly, but I know it was back during NA Beta, and I've been here ever since. I only really started checking Alla about 3 months ago, sometimes they actually have more information listed than Somepage.com. I think I've posted once on their forums, but I'm not a big fan of the site, but there are times they do have a lot information, useful or otherwise.

For all you new people, /welcome. This has been a home to a lot of us for quite some time, welcome to the family! ^^

Hi!! I'm coming here to sneak away from Alla. No one told me it was related to IGE until earlier today, but i suppose it's still new news. I went to Killingifrit, and saw an ige banner. Somepage had google advertisements but it was nothing but gilselling. This seems like the only safe haven from evil.

Now if only I can figure out how to make cool signatures with pictures like you all! ^_^

If you have Photoshop, that's how I did mine, though you can make one in MS Paint with a little bit of skill. (Before I got Photoshop, that's how I did EVERYTHING image related.) Either that, or I'm sure there's a signature request thread around here somewhere.

If not, then maybe we need to start one. ^.^

Drama here is limited to civil disagreements. The members of the staff here are very dedicated to making sure that flame wars and other unpleasantness are stopped before they ever start.

What a raging topic this has become. Everywhere, FFXI, WoW, EQ, etc. forums are ablaze with the Alla sellout. It's pretty interesting. I want to see what happens in the comming months before I make my informed decision on whether or not to leave alla for good though.
As for new members comming from Alla, I welcome you to the forums. I hope you have a great time here, and if you feel like you have to pull your guide off of alla, post it here or on the ffxi wiki, I'm sure that we wouldn't want the guides to dissapear.
