You may not have noticed it yet, but you can now write your own journal; it's tied to your user account. This is a great way to tell your tales of heroism and glory to the world (of course, you all must know that the tale of the great killer-rabbit-right-outside-of-San-d'Oria is truly a tale for the ages)! So go forth, young WARs (and NIN, and BRD, and WHM, BLM, etc...) and make your voice heard!
It's easy to get started (I promise!). Just click on FFXIO Features on the top navigation bar and choose View / New Entry Journals (alternatively, if you're like me, you'd prefer a link in the post... so how about clicking right here for a quick jump?). You'll get a big page that'll show your fellow "adventurer"'s tales and some other miscellaneous garbage. Yet! You're not looking for anyone else's journal, because how can their story about how their 18-person alliance that beat six King Behemoths in one night be any more important than your swashbuckling and hanging out around the Auction House? Click on the "very" visible link on the top-right of the page to start your journal. I called mine "Angler's Journal" (because I'm boring), and then I was able to even insert my first post right from the journal creation page! Take THAT, LiveJournal.
