i loved the movie .... they could have made it longer though but i love how all of the girls looked 8) soooo cute

Glad they re-sized Tifa's... mellons. Made her look human.
The only complaint was Marline's (spelling?) shrieky perky voice and the fact that yuffie looked bulimic. Then again, no one cares about them XD

Not that Im even considering downloading it. Just wondered why people do that cant speak japanese. Is it just for the picture or what? o.O

If anyone have seen the ripped one (which I didn't but know from my friends) some of the subs were horrible. Biggest example being the part where they traslated
ジェノバの首 into Jenova's NECK
-literal translation=Jenova's neck (yes they got that right)
-What it really means=Jenova's head (Japanese "old" way of saying bounty head)

Besides that and zuruzuru, I also heard it was decent, so meh.

Ok I have to tell a little story that happened recently. I purchased a Final Fantasy item off Ebay for a Xmas present. When I received it, the seller put in a free gift. The gift was a Chinese bootleg copy of FFVII:AC. At first I thought, "Oh hell I'm just going to throw this out." but then I decided to open it and pop it in just to take a gander. O........M..........G.......... one of the best decisions I ever made!! LOL

For at least the next 45 mins, I had many long deep belly laughs! The subs were ATROCIOUS!! I mean I've seen bad Chinese subs but these were absolutely in the top 5 of the WORST EVER!

On the disc was the movie and 2 additional features. One was call Recollection of FFVII and the other was Compliation of FFVII. Now Compilation wasn't too bad because they were just extended trailers of the newer/in the making FF games (Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerebus, etc.). The Dirge of Cerebus one was actually FREAKIN AWESOME! I had not seen this trailer on the net. So between the 2 features and the movie here are just some of the name screw ups:

Jeroba = Jenova

Difa = Tifa

Madilla = Materia

Renis = Reno

Marlie = Marlene

Senlo = Shin-Ra

Priest Blan = President in Shin-Ra

Lufaci = Rufus

Sax = Zach

Balet = Barret

Alice = Aeries

Mitkarkl = Midgard

Guobujun = Heidegger

and two of THE best.......

Glat = Cloud

AND

Kulawend = Cloud

Shefiros = Sephiroth

AND

Shiferrose = Sephiroth

Yes thats right, on one part of the DVD their names were one thing and totally different on another part. What really made if funny was that they used words like "agglomerated" in the subs and they were correctly spelled and in the correct context!!! But they couldn't get the names right!!? Oy! I pity the people that paid money for this. LOL

Makes you wonder what they DO to the it...

I have come to expect this from SE unfortunately, it seems its their standard practice(as well as many other companies like Nintendo, Sony, etc.). There just doesn't seem to be a sense of urgency for some reason.

Tell that to the hyena that got pissed when he found out that Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess got delayed 4 months back.... I even reserved that. You figure that they would have it ready by now.... When was the last time you saw a Mario game delayed?

1:30 mins... 30 mins shorter than it should have been(when watching the movie it feels like a lot of stuff was cut out, but that probably not the case).
