Guess I'll experiment a bit with it when I'm able to play again, though I very much dislike the idea of losing DW and the other goodies from NIN and DNC subs...

Well...there have been some more replies in the thread I vented in. They run along the lines of "Maybe damage dealers weren't supposed to deal so much damage so the PLD can tank easier."

This thread pisses me off.

The OP asked a simple question. He didn't know that all of the servers are in Japan and thus, that all of the servers needed to be taken down. He was under the impression that some of them were in California or elsewhere. This information was given to him, and a few posts later, he thanks the people who gave him that information. Thread should have ended there.

But no, you have a bunch of twatwaffles who can't fucking read getting in there and telling the OP he's a selfish dickwad for not being able to go without his precious game for a while. They clearly did not read the goddamn thread to realize that this guy simply asked a question, out of curiosity, and that he wasn't saying that SE should bring up the servers, and FUCK the people who need help. And the guy has posted a few more times, getting increasingly frustrated that people aren't getting the simple fucking fact that he just wanted to know about the servers. He wasn't saying that SE should turn them back on so he could play. He actually didn't know they were all in Japan and therefore all subject to the same exact problem.

This is the type of thread where I really want to get on there and just tear assholes to shreds. These people are so unbelievably stupid. I could see if the OP even whined for a second about the servers, but he didn't. He asked a simple question and people ripped him to shreds for it. He wasn't being insensitive, you fuckwipes. I have a penchant for coming up with creative insults though. Neither of those are new, but I enjoy them because they're unconventional.

its not that people are asking about the servers, it is how it is being asked. When people post things like "could SE move the servers" or "why not use backup power to run the serves" just show that they do not realize that SE has bigger things to worry about then the server being up.

Other questions I have seen are fine, but when people start acting like it is the most import thing for SE to work on are the servers..... that is where I and some others get annoyed.

Yeah the guy could have worded his first post better but if people (not you, I saw you had posted there) had read the rest of the thread, they would have seen that he posted several times saying that he didn't know, and he was just wondering. But people still gave him mad shit about it.

Of course, that's a whole different thing I hate about forums in general, people read the first post and then jump right away to reply without reading the rest of the thread to see if there's been any change in the course of the discussion. Obviously in a huge thread with 50 pages no one expects you to read all of that shit, but read the OP, the first few pages, and the last few pages before posting to get at least somewhat up to speed. In a thread like that which is only 4 pages, there's no excuse for people to not read what else has been said. That's just one of my peeves though. People end up repeating stuff or posting crap that isn't even on the subject being discussed anymore.

Oh well. Really got under my skin, and I kind of felt bad for the guy because he was just asking, and probably didn't know it would open up this huge can of shit.

Well im so sorry that i literally have nothing to do. Everytime i put in another game on the PS3 or PC i just lose interest in like 5 minutes and end up going to sleep. IDK about you, but my whole family and my friends are in a different state, due to the constant moving i did while in the military. I have nothing that interests me at this given time except for just going to punch something in the face on my monk right now, or finish my Shamshir+2. I'm just so fricken bored its not even funny, i sleep way too much. Yeah huge disaster in Japan, horrible, but i wasnt even that sympathetic when 9/11 hit America, and i was in the military, the world moved on a lot quicker than this. Think what you want. This sucks horribly and all you people covering it up with, (OMG bad things happen i send my prayers, its ok take as long as u want to get the servers back up,) are just lying to yourselves. You know your bored. You know its pissing u off they havent said anything yet. Stop brown nosing.
