And the only reason people say the official forums will go places is because the devs are (unfortunately) reading. So that means all kind of idiotic shit will get put in the game, while something like "Inviting to join party from any zone" which is actually a good idea will get ignored.

For serious. That IS a good idea. Not a good idea? "HAY GUYZ I THINK YOU SHOULD GET A BONUS BASED ON HOW LONG YOU HAVE PLAYED." I mean, I liked the idea of being able to scale difficulty if you want to on different battlefield missions, but otherwise? No.

Unless it were a vanity item, I agree. If I was given just a stupid staff with a great big 7 on the end of it to signify that I'd played for seven years, cool.

There's really no happy medium with that sort of thing. I'd rage pretty hard if the vanity item turned out to be some really sweet goggles or something equally awesome.

I think people that have been on for 7 years ought to get 1 DMG Buster Sword that unlocks a WS called "Omnislash" for all jobs. If you successfully kill any of the final mission bosses with it, you get a special victory emote.

Give players who have been subscribed for 5 years (as in 60 monthly fees paid, kindergarten math go!) a free relic so they can join the other 5 relic holders per server in their complaints about relic magian trials!
