Oh, and whether or not you enjoy BG, this thread Bashing the Official Forums is really entertaining. We had one for Alla too but the Official forums are easily trumping the stupidity to be found on Alla.

And yes you will find a good number of posts by me, because I have very little to do at this point with the inability to find a goddamn job.

I don't mind BG as its own forum. Their tendency on their to put down for put down's sake irritates me, but no more than the vices of any other forum.

This example I'm making up on the fly, but its what I'm talking about there.

Situation: thread about damage dealing jobs.
"I think most damage dealing jobs are pretty even and balanced (except for those lolDNCs whose role is to feed TP to the mob)"

You know, one of those guys who will bring the job into the topic in a degrading way just to bait other people into getting angry.

One of my guilty pleasures though is keeping up with their "Gimp/Confused/WTF Player" thread.

I stopped keeping up with that thread simply because I don't know what's gimp anymore. But I did visit it while I was still active and even posted some people. I have been called elitist a few times, I don't deny that when it comes to FFXI. But even watching the gimp thread, some people have no fucking excuse.

That and the Random Fail threads are the only ones I really bother with. Oh, and occasionally the Tarutaru pictures thread.
Everything else is just too much to sift through. I can't imagine keeping up with threads that go well over a hundred pages.

Yeah those I used to keep up with, too. And the Relic/Mythic thread.

Now, I keep up with the MLB, NHL, NFL threads, and the Random Image Thread. Among a few FFXI threads here and there which interest me, and some WoW threads.

I was worried that maybe we here on this forum were picking on poor Naturebeckles, a person who isn't even on this forum. But it looks like she is out to offend and she's a big one on the BG Official Forum thread too. Guilt is assuaged. Throwing it in someone's face that you're ignoring them is not cool...even though I'm sure HFX7686 doesn't particularly care.

Yeah actually it just screams "GIVE ME ATTENTION" when you tell people you're ignoring them. I've put people on ignore before. Here, BG, a few other forums, and I don't fucking announce it first (unless I'm really pissed, but that's happened like twice). No one cares that you ignored someone. NO ONE.
