    So this morning, my phone had a seizure. Ok notrly... but the FFXI twitter feed did kinda blow up my phone at 6:00am. Here's what they've said:

    [dev1080]

    Assassin’s Charge
    - Recast time will be reduced from fifteen minutes to five.
    - Additional merit points will no longer reduce recast time, but instead increase accuracy by 25% per point.

    Feint
    - Recast time will be reduced from ten minutes to two.
    - Additional merit points will no longer reduce recast time, but instead raise the chance of Treasure Hunter leveling up by 25% per point.

    - Additional merit points will no longer reduce recast time, but instead increase song accuracy by 25% per point.

    - Maximum damage reduction for enemy special attacks will be increased from 10% to 40%.
    - Additional Earth Maneuvers will now increase the number of special attacks mitigated rather than the percentage of damage reduction.

    - Additional merit points will no longer reduce recast time, but instead increase MP recovery by an additional 5% per point.

    Dark Seal

    - Recast time will be reduced from fifteen minutes to five.
    - Additional merit points will no longer reduce recast time, but instead reduce casting time for dark magic spells by an additional 10% per point.

    Diabolic Eye
    - Recast time will be reduced from fifteen minutes to ten.
    - Additional merit points will no longer reduce recast time, but instead reduce maximum HP by an additional 20% per point.

      Those are some drastic changes in recast timers. And that change to Feint is much welcome. Sucks that just as BST gets TH nerfed, THF gets something that helps TH pretty well.

        Are THF still a rare sight to see? I see a lot coming back with those changes.

          Not sure how rare they are on other servers, but we have plenty of them out in the open on Valefor.

            I see a lot of THFs around on Hades... er Cerberus. Not rare at all from my view point. Wish they were so I could get in on some Shinryu runs and such... those runs seem to be lead by nothing but THFs. Always /shouts for "Shinryu {fight} MNK, WHM {Yes, please} ... Mail/Helm X"

              Wait WHAT?

              Am I reading that right, or will 5/5 Diabolic Eye reduce DRK's max HP by 80%?

              Most of these are crap, some are actually kinda nice.

                @Mal: That's a typo from the translation into English.

                What it actually does is it reduces the HP% reduced when using the ability. So a full 5/5 set-up would only reduce the DRK's HP by around 3% or so.
