Not until BST is desirable in groups.

Yeah, I think that would be a perfect time for the game to end. They'd really do it too, just to break my balls.

They will make you buy a lottery ticket Bonanza Marble for 20 HKC and 20 merits, and every hour (game day) they will have a drawing up by the moogles/Maat (must be present to win!) to determine who gets to be 95.

To reduce congestion, your marble will be only good for a single drawing.

COR is getting "Companion's Roll" (Grants Regain and Regen to Pets), so look forward to seeing more BSTs lol...

Wouldn't this be gimping the master to strengthen the pet?

Yeah, but since the pet tends to be the tank, that's the side of the equation that matters.

Fair enough. I just think it's bullshit that a decade later SE still hasn't implemented a direct way to buff pets.

Like the old pet specific rolls this one will no doubt be highly situational. Thinking back to when an old LS used to steamroll Hakutaku with Bsts and just let the pets do all the work while their masters sat in the corner sucking their thumbs.

Passive trait that replicates buffs on the master onto the pet. BAM, fixed!

Hell, drg got it. Isn't bst already pretty good though? I mean hell, I watched a bst solo Turul last night. Only problem I see is that SE keeps adding reasons like this roll for bsts to want parties but far fewer reasons for parties to want bsts. Hint, SE: that's the wrong side of the problem.

DRG got it as a merit for a JA on timer that doesn't lend itself to spamming. Also it transfers a certain number of buffs based on how many merits you spent and picks them at random for maximum headache. Similar principle though, just make it passive and transfer all buffs, that way we don't need pet specific buffs or another body to worry about keeping the buffs on.

I have absolutely no idea how to make BST relevant though. Only thing I've seen lately is it being a good choice for Emperador de Altepa. 3 pets + Ducal Guard made it pretty easy, but even then that's just back to square one of it simply being a team of pet jobs, not a pet job having a place to fit in a party normally. I'm pretty sure every other group I did that NM with was just retarded, so that somewhat undermines the whole thing.
